Hey caligirl... sorry i missed your grow so far... great setup you have and it seems that youll have a wonderfull crop with all that great equipment.
I just finished my first grow..(well allready smoked that grow..hehehe) and i as far as waiting for the trichs and stuff i would recommend cutting them down when you see about 20%-50% amber. I cut them down when they were about 75% amber because i wanted the coutch lock effect. I tell ya it was too much. I know... most people will say how can it be too much... well it can... when you smoke a bowl or two and go to sleep it just isnt as fun. I found myself just staring at the laptop without typing shit. hehehe.. so i would say 20-50%... good luck

cali, some sativa's can take 10-12 weeks in flowering??? it really depends on the strain, by the looks of the trees you have there i would assume they are sativa 
or a good percentage sativa??
an issue you may have is that those babies are so tall, and you need those lights up so high because of that, the lower branches wont get as much light penetration..
I'm not a cfl guy but i wonder if they would come in handy in your grow???? along with your HID you could hang em in various spots to get more lower lighting??

CALIGIRL, I'm no expert but my sativa dominant plants looked similar to yours at 27 days. They are have filled up a lot since and are now on day 36. My indica plants by contrast were and still are way ahead of the sativas as far as bud mass is concerned. Hope that helps.

yea ive made honeybuds rolled in keif, much easier to handle. I smoke that shit faster than a kid getting off with some chick for the first time. This is week 7 soooo , I wouldnt be to worried if i were u. You just started to flower, they will fatten up just give em more time. by week 8 they will be huge, trust me

the resson for this is that its not an auto flowering strain, it needs to grow in veg for some amount of time befor it throws buds out theerI was looking around at picture and saw other peoples grow at about 27days flower (same as mine) and they already have lots of buds and hairs,
are mine undeveloped?

flowering is all about 12/12... dont be foolish with your comments. you can start flowering straight from cuttings as jay mentioned... i wouldnt recommend it as they dont grow as big buds as if you gave it a month or so... but caligirl loks like she was trying to do a sog...
She should have topped those cuttings right from the start and she would have had lots more pot... but if shes happy then thats all it counts.... good luck to all.. and be carefull who you listen to.

buds grow in flowering, not veg. A plant grown with a small veg period will only yield less, than one with a big one. Its still going to flower no matter how long its vegged. btw autoflowering strains arnt very good. Just my opinion

I havent tried a auto flowering, but I have been dying to get some Lr2 or Auto Ak, I just think the whole 2 months till harvest, and an average of 1 Oz a plant sounds sick. Not to mention the little bit of room it would take for 3-4 of them.
