Calling All Noob Growers

heyy riddle =]
im jus lookn for a second opinion, this plants 7-8 weeks flowering. im thinkin of starting a 2 week flush tomorrow. im outta smoke, i kno its a bit early haha
trichs are about 10% amber, cant get a good pic with my camera. do you think im loosing very much potential? i wus *making it rain* till about 3 weeks ago when she got to heavy to carry down the stairs safely haha so i wanna flush her real good, dont really got the hang of curing yet so i wanna make sure to do everything i can to get a good taste from her.

I am to lazy to read it all as it just makes my eyes bleed but i scanned through it and cant be botherd picking the bones out of his thread. All i am saying is there is nothing anyone here(this thread)can teach me unless its hydro and i am not interested in hydro and thats why you will never see me ask a question(start a thread).

if you have nothn to learn, why are you here?? obviously not to help anyone, seein as how your hatin on the guy tat is supplying endless info. even if it is opinion, its somethin to try, n if it dont work, then you kno to move on to the next suggestion

Gotta say this guys (and gals) that I have seen the advice that young buck gives to help answer questions and it is solid, I can atest to the simple fact that he is not a newbie because I know he understands the importance of the relationship between temps & humidity

I have seen this in his post, if you get a question answered by him trust the advice is good

I have said this in the past no reason to argue, in fact I would welcome anything he might add to the thread

And dont call me offensive names as i know all the rules set out by this website as well. Just another simple thing you dont know anything about. FORUM RULES.

I asked pretty nice that this stop and he did not say unreliable he said the info was already covered (and it is, there are years of threads on this site) I spent a lot of time putting a bunch of it together for you guys and as I said I appreciate all you defending me, my thread or my method but YB is an experienced grower and deserves respect for his help same as you offer me for mine.

I'm not a dictator and he is freely entitled to his vote (on the sticky thing, which I said I asked to have removed)

one more thing, there may be a day when your plant is dying and I'm not here, it just might be that YB is who helps you, should not burn bridges my friends, it simply does not make any sense

wow just got done reading this entire thread. My eyes are killing me from staring at the screen, but i couldnt stop reading... GREAT THREAD... First off I want to say I am a complete newbie and this is my first grow. After reading I am def going to try your methods I just want to make sure I am understanding them correctly before I do them.

First off I am using a 4 foot...4 bulb (6500k, 54W) T5 set up for lights in a grow tent that measures 51.5" x 22.5" x 48.5"

I am in my second week from seed of buddha white dwarf (autoflowering plant)

They are currently in 3.5 square X 4 deep containers

The soil is a mixture of MG ORGANIC (wish I would have saw this thread before I used it) mixed with vermiculite and perlite. It drains pretty good so far, so hopefully the vermiculite and perlite helped a bit.

When I move my seedlings into a bigger container (1 gallon, since the biggest I heard this strain getting was 30 inches) I am going to use fox farm Ocean forest or something to that effect. And hope it will be more beneficial then the MG mix I have going now. I also just got some worm castings and was thinking of mixing that in as well. Is this overkill? Should I just stick to the Fox Farm for now?

okay now onto my questions about the Flushing:

With your method, let me see if I have this right. Since my seedlings are only 2 weeks old I should wait until late may early june and start, correct? And when I do, put double the amount of water in to flush and wait until it is dry on the top 1/2 to 3/4 of soil then add the nutrients until there is a slight drain...correct? Then wait until it is dry on the top 1/2 to 3/4 of soil again then flush with water and repeat the cycle? So it is flush with water, Nutes, water, nutes and so on?

Also I have bought a bat guana kit from my local grow shop and was wondering if this is enough for nuts when the time comes? The kit includes 1 bag of each

10 - 2 - 1
10 - 10 - 2
1 - 10 - 0.2
0.5 - 12 - 0.2

should i mix them? or is this okay?

Any information would be great...You guys really know your stuff and I am so happy I found this site.

Def do not make it rain in MG soil or until they are 3 to 5 weeks old

and you do have a good understanding of the process but your going all organic and as I said the benefit is less when using organic

my method is all about total control over the growth process and organic does not offer "as much" control

I would advise using SunShine Mix #4 amended with Calcined Clay (what I will be using in my next grow)
there is a ditty on calcined clay in my Riddleme's Nuggets blog

if your going to use your kit thingy I would make teas with it and use that to feed with, I would not mix them into the soil

let us know once you get em going we would all love to watch

And I am going to look into some chem fertilizer, I'm not opposed to using them but like i said i am a newbie and thought organic was better. But the more I have been reading its only better for taste and not growth it seems.

One of my seedlings is just about to get the plug pulled. Out of four I have going 3 are already pretty nice looking. starting on their 3rd and fourth fan leaves, but one is really tiny and only has 1 fan leaf and is not growing or showing any movement (looks like it is 2 days old; when in fact it is 11) and 1 of the cotyledons is hardened as well. I think it was a bad seed from start. I guess it happens.

Most experienced growers will get rid of weak plants understanding they take more work and have more problems, weak genetics happen at the same time most new growers will nurture the weaklings and try to save them, this can be a good learning experience and it is a well known fact that runts are most usually better smoke so if successful there is a reward

totally up to you which direction you go with it

Glad to hear there is an extra reward for all the ICU work. I thought the learning was enough.

well after i posted I looked at it again, first time since last night, and it was pretty close to gone. The one mini fan leaf was curled up and the cotyledon that was hard fell off and the other one was already drying. i looked at it vs the others and the others are the same age and about 3 to 4 times the size. so i pulled the plug. I actually have a red dwarf germinating now. I was thinking since I will be caring for 3 of the same strain I will use different fertilizer on each of them and see which comes out the best. Just a thought. Gotta see what the budget would be for this. but might be beneficial for future grows of the strain. Or maybe I should wait until the first grow is out of the way before I start playing around. Hmmm, what to do

I love experiments, it's the best way to learn

I got several lined up for my next grow, insane topping, infrared heat, silica, to name a few

thanks guys! and she wus vegged under cfls,started 12/12 under cfls. week 3-4 flowering went under 150w HPS, week 7 went under 1000W hps.
