CalMag when using RO water

I thought you were making a point that Micro contained calmag sufficient for the starting point of "normal" tap water. The fact that they differentiate between 200ppm source water correlated to what I thought you were saying.

Ok, i'm confused now

This is sort of where I'm at:

Use "regular" micro if you got decent tap water.

Use LESS "regular" micro if you have very hard water. Hardwater micro is a joke!

If you are starting with RO water, add 2.5 ml/gal of cal-mag(sorry church). Adding more of the micro won't add back the Mg.

And of course, I'm not saying this is the ONLY way to do things. But it works great for me and many others, if we gotta use our RO systems

I use reverse osmosis water.
From experience using the house & garden range and canna products, I now always add calcium & magnesium seperately rather than using the cal/mag. I only add 5ml/80 litres water.
Anyhow the end result is healthy looking plants till the end.
To be fair I did have horrendous water at one time but RO cured it with the help of mg and cal.
The EC of my water starts at 1.2 with that much shit in it RO it was. One poster advocating leaving some tap water to leave some minerals.
I for one like to know what is in my water and getting the EC to zero and starting from scratch is my preferred method.
