Calyx'es or balls? Please help :'(

They are shitty pics (couldnt get the camera to focus correctly on the right spot)



I just noticed these bulbs forming, in the first picture its right in the middle, and off a little to the right...

I'm not sure if this plant is a hermie or what


Can someone tell me the way to tell the difference?

It's day 26 of flowering today I noticed them right before lights off yesterday.


I'm going to go try to take a better pic

second pic looks like developing seeds. Check it and see, see if you can dig one out. Sorry, thats all i got.

Once i dig it out how to I tell?

it will be a pale looking seed prolly have a week casing to it

Pollen in the air man. If you dont have male plants around then it drifted in through an intake etc. Im not that well versed in the ways of hermies so i'll keep my 2 cents on that subject. Its all good man as long as you learn a lesson from the experience. Im sure it'll smoke just the same, Not sensi now but damn close.

This one sack that seemed like a seed had a hair growing out of the tip, is that sill a seed sack or something else?

I just found a bunch more but they have two hairs coming out the tip... should I remove them?

Is it possible for them to not be seeds? Like an unfertilized calyx?

This is my first grow, I've never seen bud grow before.

I dont know,lol; It is possible. Im on my fisrt as well, so im just talking outta my ass. im on about week 5 veg. of my mother selection. Still a few more months.

Uh... I hope you didn't murder your plants. If they had hairs growing out of them they're probably not seeds... I mean they might be but the hairs fall off pretty soon after fertilization... even if not you can still get a harvest.

keep the seeds and grow more. or give em' to me I need seeds I'm out.

and the ones with hairs still coming our are good( no seeds)

The seeds grow in those calyx. Every hair you see on that plants conected to calyx just like the ones your preflowers look like. Sometimes they swell up really big and look like they can have seeds in them but dont count them as hermes just yet unless you actually found seed. I had a few plants that swelled up giant calyx and i thought was pollinated but when i peeled them apart it was nothing just super swelled up calyx's. So that might not be a bad thing just means your plants growing lush and happy

They are happy, well fed, full nutes and molasses with good light, ventilation, temp and humidity

Yeah I didn't kill them, I invested tooo much fucking time in them, and money. Like a fucking black hole this hobby is.


They're just chilling out right now, havent had any form of stress in a few weeks really. Pretty much smooth sailing from here.


I was planning on moving some of the produce to make the money back for everything, and if it's seedy that fucks me up a little, but eh. fuck it. It'll still be some tasty home grown, I was really hoping for no fuck ups on my first time because I was starting to get some self esteem boost from seeing the girls prosper but eh.

Found a few bunches of JUST seeds in the lower sections


The main buds DONT have any seeds in them though, or YET at least...

Is this shit going to just be straight seeds, should I just kill them now? This fucking sucks, I wont be able to start another grow until like SEPTEMBER

I've already put most of my cash I had into this, figuring it would pay off

soil, buckets, 18 different CFL's, nutes, ph up and down, ph meter, and who knows how many hours spent adjusting or maintaining or reading

I was hoping to have the money to buy some seeds off this, but I doubt that will happen.

I should have grown mushrooms and just bought herb with the money i'd make from that, at least mushrooms don't go fucking hermie

I had my own sanity riding on this too, like im worthless but hey maybe I can grow something that makes me and other people happy, maybe I can do that well and be successful with SOMETHING in my life... nope, more failure.

At least when I was a failure before I had a few extra hundred bucks

sux man, you need to figure out where the problem is coming from, where the burst hermi flowers are, and what caused them. some kind of stress, maybe a light leak? or maybe they are hermi prone bagseed?

whats keeping you from growing until September? why dont you start some little babies outside and do a guerrilla grow

ive had dank bud with a few seeds in it, the grower usually pulls them all out and you charge 15g instead of 20g; no big deal. people will still want your bud when things are dry, just make sure they know its your headstash and thats why it might seem a little pricey
