How much cash you got? What's the area you want covered? Are you planning on growing photos or autos? Perpetual? What's your set up?

If your budget for a light is $50 then I suggest waiting and saving till you have about...ten times that at least.

I agree with this. Or alternatively spend a few hundred on decent hps light. Light is THE source of energy for your plants using photosynthesis so don't cut corners or you will be disappointed

Nothing wrong in starting small...while small bucks grow small weed, small in more than none. I was gifted my first light and had to be convinced to buy anything different ..... being retired, I squeezed my $ too. I bought the cheapest blurple I could find....$50 bucks for '600w' (100w draw) .... that cheap shit grew weed well enough that I began saving for more upgrades.
IOW....just do it.
