NO! Cure them in a cool, dark place. (Cellars are ideal). Around 60-70 degrees, in the dark is perfect. Light will weaken the THC.

my one question is simply why would you, o anyone for that matter, cure their bud in a fridge??

not trying to be mean, i just don't see the benefit, unless you're thinking the constant temp would be some kind of benefit to curing bud, but i really don't see it playing that big of a role in it tbh..
if you wanna maintain a constant temp, throw them in a basement imo as basement are far enough below the freeze line that they maintain temps very well.. you ever see those homes built into mountain sides that are constantly like 68 degrees or so??

but yeah, i'm sure you could, just don't really see much if any benefit from doing so is all..
Some people don't have a basement. Some people live where it is hot and can't afford to keep their house any cooler than 76 degrees. So that's why. 776 iis ttoo hhot to dry imo. My humidity was good but still dried too fast

A suggestion: hang the buds in a closed closet for a day or two, until the outside begins to get a tiny bit crispy. Put them in a paper bag and roll the top up. Open every day, rearrange everything and leave open for a bit, then close again. You want to slow dry/cure this way. Then jar up, burp as needed but you don;t want to jar until they are relatively dry (not crispy). The bulk of the curing process is done in the paper bags

I live where it's dry and tends to be warm/hot, learned thru trial and error that (at least for me) this works best. A refrigerator seems like overkill, this isn't rocket science
