I did read that a bulb needs to run 100 hours before it can be dimmed.

I have run well over 10000 hours dimmed on multiple ballasts, new bulbs, old bulbs, never issues.

If it’s a concern with you, run the bulb at 600 for 5 days 24/7.

personally I would be checking this bud for mould in the area marked.

the Leaf in that area look a a lot like it’s rotting from the stem inside the bud out (which is where bud rot begins)
