What does kelvin mean? What kelvin is the flourescent? And if you have afew desk lamps or something you could just add cfl's along with the flouro
They'll be fine under more light, just don't let it get to hot or that will burn them. Will more light burn them? Yes I brought them in because I couldnt stand them getting over watered by the rain. I forgot the watts...
It's pretty much the color of your light (warm white, etc..) Should say on the box or maybe even on the bulb somewhere.. 2500k, 2700k, 5500k, 6500k...What does kelvin mean?
Buruing the stem can be helpful if it stretches too much, just be gentle and make sure no dirt clumps squish your seedling.Im a little hesitant to bury the stem because from past experience it dies. Im going to the store to get some cfls today!! Thanks guys!!!
I will be updating as much as possible with pictures. Hopefully this baby will be the girl I've been wanting but I've got three others just in case it turns out otherwise! So happy I found RIU..Buruing the stem can be helpful if it stretches too much, just be gentle and make sure no dirt clumps squish your seedling.
And before you buy the cfl's, remember to check the box for kelvin, you'll want to get as close to 6500k as they have for veg.
*first time I bought bulbs I got 2700k incandescents XD didn't get too far with that grow. G
Anyway, Goodluck dude. I'll be following this thread if you're gonna be updating it
You should really get those bulbs as close to the plants as possible - if they're a foot away you're just wasting electricity.5400 k cfls...10 inch fan.
within 1 or 2 inches?.....the closer the better with CFL....as long as it doesn't touchThe picture makes it seem they are but I got them as close as possible
NO,no,no. Get those lights closer. You have your seedlings so stretched, you have to tie it up. Get rid5400 k cfls...10 inch fan.
I have 18 seedlings out, and we have gotten over 9 inches of rain the past week and a half and they are doing ok. Unless you have heavy soil, or are in a hole rain shouldn't hurt. More light is what you need it won't hurt em.Will more light burn them? Yes I brought them in because I couldnt stand them getting over watered by the rain. I forgot the watts...
. Dislike!!!!my opinion is, this grow will be just as bad as your past grows.
When you are ready to get serious, do about 3 months of reading, learn all about lights and mj, then try again with proper equipment and proper knowlege. Until then you are just pissing in the wind.
