Can these chemicals harm my plants? URGENT +REP :)

Basically, heres my question.

I've got a Odour Eliminator solution to go in my air purifier which i've placed by my plants as they are 3 weeks into flowering and starting to smell more and more.

The ingredients are;

• Deionised Water
• Hydrogenated Castor Oil
• Alkyl Propylene Diamine
• Zinc Ricinoleate
• 1,3-Didecyl-2-methyl-imidazolium Chloride
• Essential Oil

Will any of these harm the plants at all by being released into the air?

Basically, the odour eliminating solution is added to the purifier in the water tank. The tank is then mixed around using a motor and this creates the masking smell. A fan then blows this upwards and into the room.

(If that'd help at all, i unno! )

Anyways, cheers for reading and any help would be really appreciated as its in there now and i don't wanna come back to a load of dead beauties

Dont put an oder eliminator by your plants dude....

Just place it outside thats not a scent you want on your buds let alone to smoke.

Out side of grow box is your best bet.

Zinc and Chloride - YOU DONT WANT ON YOUR PLANT !!!!!

Zinc exists within the plant on a MICROSCOPIC scale, by blasting it with that you will give it zinc poisoning to start with .
The the chloride is a carcinogenic and not good ! Likely give repertory issues if dried and smoked.

I dont know what Alkyl Propylene Diamine is, it dant sound good ! Google it !

And essential oils OF WHAT ??????

Dont put anything on your plants !

Even if the shit is organic why on the buds man.

Im nervous to spray them with water....

Alright i've got it out now,

it was only in there for say 20 - 40 minutes, aint gonna do much damage for that long is it?

+ It was only around 2-5ml of odour eliminating solution to around 2l of water. Hope i haven't caused any damage I've left the cupboard open for a bit, shud do the trick right?

Tell you one thing though, it did smell nothing like plants in there

Thank god, so the final smell, taste etc aint effected? I've moved it outside the door now

lol.. Chloride is carcinogenic? I never knew that... I always learned that Chloride is an ion (an anion to be exact) designated by Cl-. Matter of fact, Chloride is not an element, so you can not have it by itself... have you ever eaten table salt (Sodium Chloride) I didn't know that caused cancer, oh wait.. it doesn't!

Castor oil is simply a vegetable oil from the Castor Bean

Alkyl Propylene Diamine is a Microbiocide, Soap/Surfactant

Zinc Ricinoleate is a deodorant (well.. odor absorbing agent) found in the Castor Bean

1,3-Didecyl-2-methylimidazolium chloride is an ionic liquid.. but I don't know its purpose.

Essential oil is just used to add a plesant odor

I wouldn't spray it directly on your plants, you could keep it next to them.. but as previously stated (I think), as it could take away flavor/odor from your weed or infuse the scent from the essential oil(s) onto your weed.

i was never good at chemistry I was thinking along the lines fluoride, bromide and iodide, silver chloride/ nitrate etc
But still wouldnt put anything on or near plants. (unless feed, or pest control)

I agree. Shit that isn't ment to go on plants, shouln't go on plants (especially not your own ones).

Its not going on the plants, its like this little black thing which sit anywhere you want it.

It meants for making rooms to smell nice, you put scents into it and then fill the bottom with water. The top contains a motor that mixes the solution (water + odour eliminator stuff) and then a fan blows it upwards, so its not being put directly onto the plants, its basically just mixing up the water to aggrivate it so it causes smells to be released and then fanned upwards.

The actual concentration of the odour solution is 1:100, mixed with just normal tap water.

im not gonna use it in the actual cupboard, im gonna use it outside in the hallway, but would love to know if its safe or not.

I can imagine the chemicals being released into the air settling on the leafs and making them taste horrid tho (like someones mentioned)
