It's hard to understand, for me, why peoples trust in other individuals (strangers) has slipped quite badly, while we simultaneously allow gov't and big bad corporations to willingl
It must have been horrible for you to endure you're father's political aspirations on the way to hockey practice. Hockey in my youth was for privileged.
That was a sarcastic modern "whoa is me" or the victim defense. It was great playing minor hockey (at 5 AM in the winter) and I totally admire and respect my Father for being so involved with his son throughout my childhood. Sharing work and play with your family, was an important part of my childhood. I learned young about this money makes the world go 'round thing.
I like that cartoon, quite approriate.
He manufactures grievances all the time and has weird twists of what represents freedom.
I'm flattered, I simply answered what freedoms I lost, not whether they were justified, I haven't disobeyed either. I'm not manufacturing new words or definitions. These are just examples of legislation or pressure that takes away something I had yesterday. I did nothing, it was fine yesterday, but now I can't do it or have to get rid of it or I'm breaking a law or something.
I understand most of the examples are what currently is acceptable to benefit the masses, but it also denies the individual of rights and freedoms.

Yes, you may be correct, time will tell.

Our country (assuming you are an American) is in a downward fall and I’m all for unity and a government we can rely on.

There are a multitude of voters that think Biden is too old to handle another 4 years of running the country. This includes several democrats including Congressman Dean Phillips from Minnesota, the 54 year old millionaire and Dean Phillips, a three-term U.S. Representative, also from Minnesota. Both men have been critical of Joe Biden’s bid.

We need to find a Democrat that will fulfill that bill, otherwise there will be a Republican running the country. Do you have any suggestions? I'm asking this with all due respect.
Biden and trump are practically the same age and Biden is in much better shape. Physically and cognitively.

This is your guy going down a ramp;

Probably remember that it was in society's interest in trying to stop the virus from spreading. Not like it was a big deal, people dying and overloading the hospital systems? Yeah, some people remember. And then there are the ones that do not.
I begrudge no ones desire to be in control of decisions to what they do to their own bodies. I followed all laws during the pandemic, and was also quite surprised about the lax uneven application of them in public.
I wanted to isolate my unvaxxable daughter and newborn grandson to our water access, off-grid cabin, but no. I would think that would have been a good way to protect MY vulnerable family members. So I followed orders. Right or wrong, my freedom and rights were restricted, while simultaneously increasing the risk to my family and the local population (according to science).
We do what were told, for better or for worse, but I can still voice my opposition, when prompted.

CC, there you go with your cartoon stuff again.
My question was not right or left, I was hoping for a civil answer or opinion.
Anyway, thanks for reading my post.

The left (anti-Trump) tends to be more arrogant in assuming they are accurate and no debate or argument is needed. That is why they often want to shut down any counter agreement to their ideology with malice rather than convince their opposition with proof as to why they are correct.
Its a socialist tenet. Quite trending, easy to dismantle or agitate when applied by activist outrage and youtube, LOL.

You can't be serious. If you honestly think Biden is in better shape especially cognitively you are obviously in denial. What a joke.

Part of the problem is that team defendant 1) are tight-lipped about his health, and 2) they cannot be trusted to be honest.

So there isn’t a lot of text journalism that can be used to affirm or deny your claim.

This is aggravated by the maga press trumpeting every mote in the President’s eye and scratching kitty litter over the multiple beams in their idol’s.
The exception is the DeSantis campaign, which is airing some of the many gaffes and stumbles made by defendant. It’s the Mothra of spite battling zilla.*

Between the lines: Trump has long tried to hide or obscure details about his physical health.

*not a typo. That man is Godless.

Well 77% of Americans think Biden is too old, while only 51% of Americans think Trump is too old.
