You would be crying to come down from some of the brownish butters I have made. Color is not always a gauge. Some of the batches with a lot of scissor hash and kief that I have made are VERY brown and were far from burnt. It come down to how it is made. I like the cheese-cloth teabag boil method. It usually has an extremely light color, but as I said, you will be begging to come down easily if you are a rookie. It's pure and should be mixed by this method, but has a really nice effect. With edibles, always tread lightly.
