I want to try using my leaves and trim to make cannabutter, and what I'm wondering is if I should do decarboxylation as you would with buds?

I dont ever decarb before making butter between the simmering then the baking process It will be activated.

Thank you. I tried some with my last harvest and didn't decarb (actually didn't know I should have), so I think I'll try it with the leaves and trim
