Will post pictures later... Ok so I'm in my grow room today and I took the temp and it registers at around 83 degrees. I'm not sure if this is a problem but i've heard that 75 is optimal. So to solve this shit for summer growing I've put 5 2 litter bottles in my freezers. I'm going to stick them in the grow room tomorrow and see if that helps temps any.

Temps are up today as I checked and I think I figured out why my girls are growing single leaves... just like mom. I think it's the heat, temps where up to 90 degrees inside the tent. Right now I'm scrambling to get bottles, 2 litter jugs, everything that's plastic and holds water inside my freezer. The plan is to put those in the grow tomorrow and see some temp drops. Hopefully in the high 70s low 80s. Right now i have about 10 litters of water freezing in different containers. According to what i researched online this method worked great for middle easterners back in the day. Also, although temps have been rather insane this week, I'm still seeing and explosion of root growth. This at least is good news. Although the leaves are curling, and my girls are hurtin... I think it will work out.

So far they look like they are doing ok. New growth on all the plants. I put those 16 litters of frozen water inside the tent, I guess we'll see how that works out. Right now the tent is at around 80 or so. Lets hope it doesn't go up.

No pictures just yet. Ppm has gone down, so has the water inside the res. Root growth is to the point now where I don't really want to pull them out as it's a pain in the ass to get them back in. Now, temps today inside where around 80-90 degrees. Although, mostly mid 80s even with the ice. Curling continues... Ventalation adjustments where made and it has helped a little. Checked weekly forcast and thing will cool down soon. So, by the time these get buds they will be in optimal temps. If anyone has any cheap ideas let me know.

Usually why clones grow single leaves, is because they were cut from a flowering plant. That is why I have had this problem

PH locked in at 5.7. Added 4 litters of water last night. PPM overall is down to 220. They are eating... This is great news considering my heat conditions. Roots are at insane lengths already, almost a foot long on the biggest plant. Here's some growth shots.

They all had roots in 7 days. Mom is in 24 / 7 florescent light. I think they are stressing out because of the heat. It's been hot lately, and when it cooled off last week mom start poping 5 leaves all over. I'm sure these will do the same once it cools down a bit.

Ok so it's still day 8. Plants are growing along nicely, but i've decided not to stress them anymore and I found a solution. I'm going to wait until 10 pm tomorrow night to flip the switch back on. They will be in darkness for an extra amount of time... I've only heard this accelerates the flowering process. Also my temps during the day have been way to high. So I will run them from 10pm to 10am. That should solve my curling problem for good.

Good idea. That's gonna help a lot. I time my light cycle at night as well. I can hardly wait to start my 12/12.

How's your mother plant? Those clones will bounce back. Just let this little heat wave we've been having pass. I'm riding it out too.

So here's mom as of just now, and some new chicks. Yea man, chicks... I love chicks. These are going into flower in a few days most likely. None where showing roots as of today, but i think it's only like day 4. Going to have a harvest week 1 in dec and week 3 of dec.

Also if you look in the mom pic, you can see my tub for my aero cloner that I am making. Just needs a air pump, water pump, a couple stones, and some air line. Going to keep my clones I keep getting in veg... So they will veg while the others are flowering. Going to swap these right into flower right after I take my first harvest. That way... I get some big big shit going my next grow. Perpetual harvest every 2 months right now. The mother has given 12 clones total so far... I'm sure I can squeeze 12 more out of her in the next 2 months, easy. Oh, and I'm going to put mom in a bubble bucket. I have an extra slot on my air machine, it would be easy to run a line from the flower room to the veg for the 5 gal bucket.

Today I switched my plants from 10 am to 10 pm... to 10 pm to 10 am. Complete reverse in an effort to controll temps. So far so good.... Tent closed right now is at about 72-80. It will go down more over night.

PH: From 6.0 to 5.6

PPM: From 580(up over the long dark cycle from 520) Added 2 gallons of water and 5 ML flora grow, bloom, and micro(not in that order). It's floating around 520 or so again.

Temps: 71-80 F

Maybe this is me being hopeful... But on some new growth on the biggest plant, seems to be normal for once. Wow. Go me, just think in another 2 weeks this might actually look like MJ and if 5-0 shows up I won't be able to say it's basil anymore.

Girls are looking good today. Newer growth is showing little signs of heat problems. So I think I've solved my problem. I'm looking forward to nice lush plants.

PPM : 520
PH: 5.6 adjust from 6.4
Temp: 72

New growth on the largest plant looks best... she's growing the fastest. Measured out today at 10 inches... yesterday was 9.5...

Ph today at 5.8... not adjusted.

Really happy all the new growth looks more or less ok. A few twistys left over coming out of the smaller ones but once they get going I'm sure they will do just as well as the big gal.

Looks like they're bouncing back. It'll be just a few more days while they acclimate to the cooler temperature.

Ph : 5.9

New growth looks good... blah blah blah. Come back in 3 weeks when I have some porn. You may notice some new plants in there... they are 12 days behind the rest... Shouldn't be to much of a problem... they are just going to starve during the others flush. Oh well.
