Any help on this is appreciated. Plants are in an ebb and flow type system. About 3 weeks into flowering the buds start showing this disease. It is most apparent on the inner nodes and has a decreasing effect towards the tip of the stem. Buds look like cauliflower - not in color - but form. Hard, stunted, hairless, worthless. I have never seen it before, am thinking its Pythium or something related, but don't know if I'm on the right track. H2O2 has been used, in conjunction with UV sterilization of fluids. Working on a chiller unit to keep res. temps down. and adding benificials. Nutrients are changed weekly/or biweekly, tons of ventilation, PH monitored daily....
This came out of nowhere, have had summertime probs int the past, but never to this extent. Has any one ever seen this??? and what did you do?
For clarification: buds still have the normal conical/oblong shape, but hairless, stunted and dense - alot like they were seeded, but hey aren't. Rest of the plant seems to grow normaly, maybe a little slow, roots don't seem to develop like they used to but no browning or slimyness. inner regions clos to stem most effected, and lessening as you go to tip of branch.
Help!
