So I had a blunder. I had her drying, and I didn't catch her at the optimal moment. So she is on the dryer side right now. Weight came out to roughly 6.5g
The smoke is pretty nice. Nothing to special (and i didn't expect it to be). But it definitely is no bag weed. But I mean there is no sweet taste. It is really smooth and that's about it, Even though she is on the dryer side. It's past the point where I can properly cure her... But I still put her in a jar, we'll see where it goes from there.
Bsh.. it's tough to get close ups, so this is the best I could do.
I'll be trying to get some pics up of my KC36's. One is getting close to harvest. Probably in a couple weeks max.

put it in the jar with apple peels. it would rehydrate the buds and give it a better taste

I'm surprised, I thought you would get about a half dry - a quarter is good though for your setup. And I bet if you could have had a little bigger space and tried to go a tad longer, a half would have been attainable. How was the affect of it? I've never read about the strain before.
Also, I wouldn't worry about it not having the "stink through the bag" smell. I can't get mine to do that and I had like 2.5 and a bunch of different little jars (a couple your size, a couple the next size up). I guess that comes with a better cure? I'm not sure. My stuff reeked when it was on the stem, then when I cut it - it had that hay smell, now it barely smells like anything. I probably won't have enough med left to find out whether a huge cure would help or not. I use about 2 ounces a month so even now I will be outta med before my next grow. LOL
I am started to germ a bunch of the seeds I got. Not sure if the male that I caught late got to them or if my plants might have hermied. Although I didn't see any pollen on them. I'll find out if theres males in these seeds. If so then I've got my own special strain,.

Dude I think you are going to be impressed. She was really easy to grow and I was only using mg soil and pH'd water. Gl and thanks for checking my thread out. Also, be prepared for a shit storm of smell during the last few weeks. Totally worth it though.

Yeah I probably would of had like 7-8g's if I had taken her off of the drying line earlier. I didn't realize how fast the small plants dry. "How was the affect of it?" what do you mean? There isn't much info on the strain. I knew of only one other person who had grown it before and they didn't give me much info, so I just went for it. I'm sure there are higher quality stains that have the same basic structure. I'm thinking of trying Norther Lights sometime in the future. before that though, I want to get a HPS and try out my AK-47.
I'm glad there is no "stink through the bag" smell. My room was getting out of control smelling like bud right before I harvested her. 2 ounces a month... damnnnnn err i guess that makes sense if all your doing in smokin it. sucks that you'll be out.
Hopefully you girls are ok and they are not hermies... that'd be sick to have your own stain. If I had a bigger setup I would def try and make some new strains from strains I already enjoy.

I'll try and get some pictures up this afternoon. Don't wait around for it though, as I have class until 3 this afternoon and I like to do shit after class.

Ah yes I forgot you went down to 6.5 after your dry. I was trying to recall your wet weight and do the divide by 4 thing - that's be a good estimate for me so far. Do you really think yours got too dry? I only hung mine for a few days and next time I am going longer. A lot of my friends say they dry until they can burn a joint cleanly. Knowing that I went out and got some papers, but it ended up I couldn't do that successfully until a couple days ago. Like I said, I had it in a few smaller jars too rather than one big one - so the dry time had to be a factor.
Hopefully in the future us both can get a reasonable backup going so we can find our dry spot and then burp quick and jar it for good. I have a feeling that is where my smell is gone and where you will either get some mosisutre or sticky back. It makes me a little mad that it doesn't stink though like it did - I love that smell.
What kind of med is KC? (That's what I meant.) Is it "heady", relaxing?

This is what I have from the reviews:
It has a high THC content with a little bit of CBD. It gives you a soaring head high, energetic. We'll see how it acts for me.
We'll also see if its truly to dry. I am getting a new grinder on thursday so I'll be able to test it out then.
