CFLs, LEDs, Car head lights, street lights doesn't work

He's trying to be funny and failing miserably.
I'm not sure if LED is ready for prime time yet, but it's getting better all the time and a few of the most recent grows I've seen have been pretty impressive. As the price goes down and the wattage goes up, I think it will be the wave of the future - especially for people who are growing in confined spaces and who don't want to deal with the ventilation and heat issues attendant upon HID grows.

well i have been using cfl on my 2nd lot now but the 1st loot a had 4 plants and 6x14watts bulbs and they veg fine they grow to 7" in 3 and a half weeks but now iam using 10x20watt and i made sum hoods for them and they r working great jus switch them 2 12/12 now been on 12/12 for 2weeks now
well not use cfl for flowering yet so lets c how they do each plant is getting about 5,250lumens and the r growing very well

yeah,just started my CFL grow. Only doing 5 lowryders and it seems to be working pretty well so far. I wouldn't want to try growing anything full size with them tho....LOL, the lowryders are awesome, made for stealth.

i grow with my 24" LCD monitor, i just change the background to 2700k color and 6500k depending what i'm doing
Okay I know this guy trying to make a joke but would it be possible?
I have a closest full of LCD screens from laptops and monitors I just picked up (I part-time as a computer repair and get a ton of free parts when my clients upgrade).
So anybody try a box made out of LCDs (LCD's facing inwards) while playing a movie?

I just thought I should make some chuck norris ones about growing. Ill give it a shot
Chuck norris doesnt use lights, his weed plants climb higher out of fear.
Chuck norris doesnt flush his nugs, he round house kicks the nutes out of the the plant.
Chuck norris gets greater thrichome production from his plants because they are trying to protect themselves from chuck, not the radiation of lights.
Chuck norris can yield more than 2 grams per watt.
