Generally when a dog does something they wouldn't do when the owner is home it's a sign of separation anxiety, however with two dogs it's usually a sign of good old mischief.
I'd also suggest that those two dogs believe they are Alpha in the house....just look at how they "rule" that bed.
My dog knows who the Alpha is in this house... ME! You can break dogs of thinking they are Alpha no matter how old they are... if YOU WANT to.
First order of business is don't let them on the beds or furniture. They need to know they aren't on the same level as you. I used to let my dog sleep with me... but I got tired of all the sand and dirt he dragged into bed so that stopped. Plus he was stealing food off of the counters so I knew he had to be "de-alphaed"
Next...when they are acting unruly... you get them down on the the ground and pin them on their back. They will fight you and struggle to get up... you have to hold them there until they submit to you. Alpha dog training 101.
Jack is so well behaved that when he gets out of line all I have to do is look him directly in the eye and say "who's the alpha dog?"... he will instantly lay down on his back with his paws in the air to show he's submitting. He's a good boy... but it took some training to break him of the bad habits he had developed before coming to live with me.
I love dogs... they are WAY WAY better then stupid cats
