Here's where I am so far... I have two 30 gallon tubs. Here's the top...

I have 10 of these bulbs (they seem extremely bright, is it possible to have too much light?)

I still need to add fans and exhaust vents. I have three fans, two 4inch and one 3 inch... Here they are...

I have all these plugs... Only one 12V... Will any of the others work with my fans? (I'd like to install the two 4 inch fans, but I only have one 12V transformer..) Is two exahust or cooling fans overkill??? Can I run 2 fans on one 12V line???

You'll be fine. Looks like a nice setup. The bulbs are on the soft white side, but I've gone full grows with them.

*Crosses fingers* Hope you get the green bulb, bro. ;)

Edit: Yeah you can use one 12v plug for more than one fan. I'm using a 9v for two.

Thanks Ravi,

I assume you just splice the wires in two places, correct? Or would I be better of using a 12V for one and a 9v for another?

Well it depends on if you want it to run at full speed or not... I just rolled the two red wires and two black wires from the fans together and then taped each set to the corresponding end of the 9v cellphone plugin adapter wires.

12v would be full power, which equals full speed.
9v will give it like 8/10ths power,
and degrades from there.

You have a small box though, so you gotta decide whether or not they're going to be pulling and pushing enough air into your environment. Two fans is all I have for a computer case grow, so you may want more. Also, you have that little fan mounted in there, that'll work as an exhaust as well, if you have the top on and it's sealed or close to it. Smoke On. :joint:

Did you get the green bulb? :D

Also, do the light fixtures move vertically? I'd like to see more pictures with the lights in and on, and also the exterior of the tub. You've given me inspiration to start one of these myself! :hump:

Okay Ravi, I'll ake some more pics soon, although I'm not sure what you mean by vertically. Do mean are they lowerable? No. But you just put a bunch of books under the plants and take one or two out as you need to.

Good news, my only four seeds have cracked -- all of them. Now I'll just wait till they're out a little more and then plant them. Do I spray the soil with worm poop food right away, or should I wait?

Maybe if my seeds fully sprout, (I only have 4!!!). Two cracked yesterday, but today they looked the same, so I'm concerned... Maybe I should immediately put them in soil???

Throw em in the dirt! :hump: I can't answer your question on worm poo, I've never used it. Lookin' good still, and a nice little cubby to fit it all in.
