Checking Trich's: Better than a microscope...

I took out my Canon D-SLR and 60mm macro lens and snapped one under the HPS; hence the crappy colors.

It definitely beats my 30x LED microscope, especially with my shaky hands

Please excuse the cat hairs. Will try to take better pics with natural light tomorrow.

yah, i use my dads nice camera with the macro lens to get sweet crstal shots like that. looks good

i'm still new to the world of D-SLR (mine was a b-day gift from the future mrs.) but a good lens is just as important; if not more so than the camera itself.

lovin' the results though... once the buds are cured i'll use my light tent and tripod for hopefully some awesome pics.

yeah looks that way. The Bubblegum have more mature trich's but smaller buds.

I kinda wished the NLX would mature quicker so I can harvest at the same time and still have two different highs (prefer more cloudy on the Bubblegum for a daytime bud. NLX for )

Is it true that trich's turn cloudy to amber quicker than clear to cloudy?

I dunno about you all but that makes a lovely background picture for the monitor...Very nice and clear...gonna use it for awhile ..hope you don't mind...

Cool, thats how i did it last time, i can never see shit thru that radioshack microscope. My pic isnt as good as yours, prolly more me then the cam. Its good enuff to see the amber on the leaves tho.

just beautiful Tricks! Yeah I got the 30xLED, 100xLED and 30xloupe and I still can't see what's what. At least this way you have a much broader view.

and you've got MUCH better lighting than me!

and mind you I had to snap about 30 just for one to come out focused.

I will use this on my current grow when its done and tossing that radioshack toy. Ive been practicing my taking photos skill on this grow, so my next budshots will hopefully be as good as yours! Oh yeah, and i finally discoverd anti-blur.

Here's a couple we took today, Side view and top view, plants are 23 days in flower.

I had to climb on a bucket to take that 2nd pic.

Theres 6 K2's under 2 x 400 hps lights. The pic shows you a couple of em. They where vegged from clone for 6 weeks. Didnt plan to veg that long So they kinda got outta hand and are 5-6ft tall already.

Here's the rest of em.

Hope i dont have to move my ballasts up!

Not bad but your camera cost a grand, my scope cost $9 , and I can see SINGLE TRICHS @120x . I guess whatever works for ya

yeah but I wanna see the overall percentage of clear/cloudy/amber, not single trichs

Nice, not alot of amber yet. Really frosty tho!

I love NLX, planted 16 clones this morning. Wish they would be where yours is tho. They are the ones on the left, on the right i got some WW.
