Update time.....Not much of a change in my girls today. I plan to transplant Joni, Terrie and Tina to their new homes on Sunday, and San will get her light cycle changed from 18/6 to 12/12 so she can begin flowering. San is growing quickly since I topped her. Check out my little ladies................

Looking good man...are you going to top and tie? I see the pins in the sides of the bucket. Man they are nice and green and healthy. You're going to be flowering in two weeks how does it feel? lol...I'm looking forward to seeing insane growth. I didn't top mine this time. Well on purpose I mean. I wish I had. I don't think I'm going to yield much this time. But I just hope it's potent. I know yours is going to kick ass because your really care. Well good growing chief

San really did recover quickly! I can't remember, did you top your first journal grow?

What's up James, I'm trying to get my tent looking like I'm serious about growing I'm trying to make sure my operation stays a private one, I won't have to worry about anything but growing and caring for my girls. I'm still keeping my CFLs going in the closet. I'm thinking about getting my PC case going again, it's just that my pots I'm using for the Master Kush is too big for the PC case. The bigger the pot, the bigger the buds Man you need to keep you eyes on eBay to see if the price for the 150w HPS gets even lower. They have good deals on the 250w HPS too for $100 or a little less.

thanks BKB, Joni is the one I'm using for the competition, I'm trying to think of some creative way to grow her without messing her up. I might try that Bonsai style grow. I have given San and the other girls enough water to get a good rain from them but I'm not starting the MIR technique until this Sunday on San. I'll start the other plants when they are 3-4 weeks old. My soil has nutrient in it already, so once it's time to start feeding my girls nutes I will Make It Rain. I have to be careful not to end up with oak trees in my tent because this technique will produce trees if you don't pay attention to have fast they are growing.

Thanks Icannabis, I have topped San already and when she gets taller, I'm LSTing her too I plan to Top and LST the crap out of one of the Master Kush plant and Scrog the other plant to maximize my yield. I want to experiment with the Scrog just to see if I can do a screen of green I have to drop by to check out your girls to see how big those buds are getting.

Hey Millyy, I topped & lst Sassy and Kim but I just LST the Blue Mystics during my 1st grow. I saw where Napa had topped his auto BM so for this 2nd grow, I wanted to try it to see if I could get 4 colas. With Sassy, I got a lot of colas from topping and LSTing her.

250w is that 250 watts? or what is it... i no nothing about sodium bulbs except theres a ballast and fixture and they are pressurized bulbs... color spectrum matter? theres probably a whole thread dedicated to the questions im asking but i feel more comfortable talking with you about it ya digg?

Hey James, The 250 watts HPS/MH has a light for vegging and a light for flowering so it takes care of all lights spectrum. I thought eBay was selling them cheaper than the prices I saw yesterday. The 400 watts was cheaper than the 250 watts hps. I just use the CFLs for veggie and the 150 watt HPS for flowering. With the BMs I'm using the HPS and some 6500k CFLs to veggie, then on Sunday I will take out the 6500Ks and put in some 2700Ks with the HPS for flowering.

Just wondering that if you are using Joni for the Mortal COmbat Contest isnt she a Auto Strain? Can you LST,Sup Crop and Top Autos? I only ask cause if your going to make it into something it will need some recovery times which might take away on developing budsite with them Flowering when they want? Can you please clarify that stuff on Autos cause if I can Top/Sup Crop and LST a Auto FLowering Strain then I will do it with mine. I am under the impression from research and readings that Auto FLowering Strains are best if you just top them early or just let them go. Any help Chief on Autos will be greatful or anyone else who has expirence with growing Autos, please help me the nOOb. LOL

Hey BKB, the contest is only autos and I think the whole contest is about creative ways to grow your auto out. I haven't decided what I plan to do to Joni yet because I don't want to stress her out. I LSTed the Blue Mystics in my 1st grow, they turn out good. This time I wanted to top one of the BMs (San)just to see if I will get 4 colas. I really don't plan on doing too much to stress Joni because I want the weed more than I want the Mortal Combat prize Since I'm a big fan of the Blue Mystics, I just plan to try some different techniques out on her like "Making it Rain" and drowning her when I harvest. I was going to try the Bonsai style grow but I might just try a way to LST her. As you can see, I haven't got a clue how I plan to grow Joni out. Check out today's post of my family

My family is growing so fast, wait until you see San. You will see where I topped her is growing very good. The master kush babies are drinking water like no tomorrow. I will wait until Tina and Terrie are 4-5 weeks old before starting the "Make It Rain" technique, don't want trees vegging for too long. I plan to veggie them for 6-8 weeks, just until the BMs are done. None of my babies are being fed nutrients yet until they are 4 weeks old, the soil has plenty of nutes right now. Here's some pics of the family....................

Hey Chief, was your Blue Mystic 'San' planted on Christmas, or did it sprout then? I thought our BMs were the exact same age, and mine is now 22 days old - broke soil right on the holiday...

Hey Manditroy, you are right. San is now 23 days old. It's time to get my lights together and start her to flowering.

Hey Millyy thanks for the compliment. I think I'm going to transplant the Master Kush plants next Sunday when I move Joni to start flowering with San in the tent. I decided to see if San will flower using 12/12 light cycle.

Update time.......................I made it rain with San today, changed out the 6500Ks for 2-2700Ks CFLs plus the 150w HPS and changed the light cycle to 12/12. My last grow of blue mystics, they refused to flower using 18/6 lights and stretched something terrible. I end up having to change the light cycle to 12/12. I'm saving time this go around and I'm going to just start of flowering San 12/12. I'm transplanting Tina and Terrie (Master Kush) next Sunday when they are 3 weeks old. By the time they need nutrients, I'm going to transplant them. Had to water all my plants today. I started out giving my plants plenty of water each watering to get them ready for when I make it rain. Here's some pics of the family..........
