Didn't try my own cross breeding yet Chief...there was one boy from each of my 3 strains in the "boys room", so I used the AK48 pollen on my AK girls. But if you think it will be a good cross, maybe I will try it later on my next chance. I've got pollen from my AK48, Blue Mystic and Short Rider boys club, so I should be ready no matter what shows up as female. I have 2 clones from my current AK girls. They're in party cups like my babies, but a little behind them in size. This time, I put in 1 bean from each strain, so I hope that I get a girl BM (first 2 were boys - from all 3 strains that I tried - except that AK). If the fates bury me in balls again, at least I have that AK clone that I already know is a girl. I promised one girl clone to a friend, so I'm glad they both took root. I plan to top the new babies very soon as they're all started on their 4th sets now. I'm having good luck with the snipped tops rooting for me - thats the only reason I ended up with TWO AK girls from my first grow...5 of 6 seeds were male but I luckily cloned the top of that single girl!

Update time: I just watered Joni which I forgot that I watered her yesterday. Hope she will be okay with the over watering. I decided to top San tomorrow just to see if I will get 4 colas. I figured if I'm going to top or lst San, I better do it before I put her to flowering on Sunday. That should give her time to recover. The 2-master kush babies are doing good, I watered them today. They are still in their Dixie cups and seem to need water every other day. Tina is a little smaller than Terrie but they both are healthy. Here's some pics of the family..............

I did drown MD, the key is to try to keep your plant alive as long as possible when drowning it or fully submerged in water. Still havent smoked MD yet but I will let you know how it is on Friday. I will also PM you cause I got some questions about your set up. Your babies are growing fast bro, keep up the good work!

Agree rastadred, there is so much more growth when you feed your plants this way, a lot of work but well worth the work in the end! Riddleme is a legend cause of his teachings in his threads!

Hey Rastadred, I started towards the end of the last grow making it rain with the BMs. I plan to make it rain when San is 3 weeks old. Like Riddleme said, hit her hard to get her use to the watering, I plan to start the flowering nutes @ 1/4 strength her 1st week of flowering. Stay tune, it should be interesting

I would be in seed heaven. I think it would be cool to cross BM with AK-48, man that would be some good weed. I really hope when those seeds pop they are females. Take a clone from the AK-48 clone when it grows some more and then you can have weed & seeds in no time

Yeah, I'm crossing my fingers hard that I get girls too! I figure that my odds of finding a girl seed are maybe better now that I've already found 2 boys from the 10pk - if they have at least half girls in there, then that means 5 of the 8 left were ladies. Of course, I could be one of the unlucky bastards who gets a 10pk with 8 boys! I'm planning on letting the AK clones grow a bit more as they're pretty small yet - then top them and see what happens. As they're already clones, I don't know what I'll get, but I'll aim for the 4 colas and hope for the best! If I end up crossing the BM and AK somewhere down the line, and then make seeds, maybe I'll put one aside for you to try...

Hey Manditroy I feel you on those seeds. Hey out of a 10pk of seeds, 5 of them should be females. If not, then somebody will be giving me more seeds. If you do breed the BMs with the AK-48, definitely but one aside for me

Hey BKB, I have already bookmarked this site and few others as well. But I found a carbon filter on eBay for $48 including free shipping. So I'm going to buy it tomorrow. I have to wait until the end of the month to get a strong fan. Here are the pics of my tent. I want to have my odor control working very well before my Master Kush and Blue Mystic babies start budding and giving off their sweet aroma.

. Oh yeah, you can top an auto. Just do it before you change the light cycle for flowering. Once you get through this grow, you will try different techniques to yield more weed your next grow. I need to get my Lucy fix, I have to stop by to check her out

What size filter and fan did you get? I spent some chee$e on mine but its worth it cause I dont worry about smell unless my tent is open. I was wondering if anyone knows how long do those carbon filters last? I been running mine for about 3 months and never really thought about how long they are good for? Any input would be helpful. Thanks
