Chocolope Ebb Gro

Been a member for for a few months already with no posts, So I figured that I should at least put up a grow journal to contribute to the RIU community and get some feedback on how my girls r doin.

Im running n ebb and gro 12 bucket site with GH Keep it simple Flora series with the addition of Floranectar.
Lights: 1-HPS/MH 400w switchable 1-400w Sun System HPS
Exhaust: 1-VOrtex 449 cfm powerfan w Carbon Filter
Fresh Air: 1-Active air 180 cfm blower

Strain is DNA genetics Chocolope
I grew one mama for 2 1/2 months and took 20 cuttings from her in an DIY aerocloner. Vegged the cuttings a lil over a week.

These are the clones in the DIY aerocloner at 2 1/2 weeks I know they look sick but once they were transplanted and put on nutes the shot up

These r all the pics I have of the girls and will be trying to update at least once a week As of right now they do have a little cal mag deficiency on some fan leaves but will be putting on full bloom nutes to supply them with more cal mag since it up the bloom and reduces the the grow plus I would rather that lower the grow so if need be I wont be adding too much nitrogen.

PS THis is my Second full grow but first Time growing with RO water If yall have n e other questions please feel free to ask.

with ro your going to have cal-mag issue as you already know!

Im using GH FLora Series The basics Grow Bloom Micro and the additives are FLorablend Floralicious plus Liquid Koolbloom and FLoranectar. I changed the res last night to the Bloom schedule and the ppms came out to a around 1375 I think its a bit high but the mom was able to withstand that high with no stress. I was hoping to get denser buds and more light penetration with them being that small The last grow I had they came out airy but that might be because it was some mexican brick strains. Its not in the pics but I so plan on lining the walls with mylar to help with more light penetration Also I have seen bits n pieces ur journal and ur setup is SICK!!! I like how u upgraded to 3/4 pvc and that controller for ur lights is crazy. Where did u get that check valve? I was going to try to do an iverted trap to make the controller stop shutting on and off but it seems that after a lil wear and tear it stops with no problem. I dont know much bout pming never tried it might b cause i dont have many posts but to answer your quetion I wouldnt mind moving the this to hydro section. How would I go bout doing that?

il take care of moving it, 1300 ppm is a but high but if your not seeing issues then roll with it
yah mexi brick strains suck and that chocolope going to be a night and day difference!!
you in the future might think of geting x2 600hps that will get them alot denser buds.

one thing about the ebb is its prone to pythium/bactiria invasion so watch that temp
of the water close!! and stay away from useing sweeteners and sugars. or adding any
bennys unless your going to brew teas.

the check valve can be got at the same place ou got your ebb or by calling cap themselves.

Koo Is Using sweeteners bad for the system or just not needed at all. I have read that there is no point in using sweeteners. WOuld Floraliicous plus be considered as a benny? And if so, since Florablend is a tea, would it benefit with Floralicous plus?

I have considered using 600 watters but have been on a tight budget for the mean time, Might be a couple of harvests before I make the change plus on my next crop I will be making a change to Dyna Gro as I have seen from Homebrewers threads that a little goes a long way

I dont think it helps but I do know it causes issue in the ebb!
as for those nutes im not exp in them so I cant say.

thats good nute line to get into if you can get it at your shops, also technoflora is good and cheap to, homebrewer know his shit to
so hit him up and im shure he will give you a shure fire feeding chart

Floralicious plus has bacillus subtilis in it. You have already innoculated your rez with that and the sugars in the nectar are feeding the bacillus. Then these little guys will float around and out-compete the pythium and other bad bacteria.

Just keep your rez uder 70 degrees...

Just got done flushing and filling the res back up with the flowering formula of gh keep it simple. The ppms are still high but still no signs of stress from the plants. Theres a few fan leaves that are clawing, but this is due to a fan being to close and some fan leaves showing cal mag deficiency but these were from two weeks ago and no sign of deficiency progressing. Might stick with the nute ratio for this week, maybe another week at most before going to full bloom and micro nutes and cutting out the grow.

The girls are starting to bulk up I Flushed them last night with Florakleen to get rid of the build up since they are on a high ppm They are starting to show some good tric production and are starting to smell of a citrusy flavor I had to do a little trimming on some dead leaves and man the smell is still on me I wish I could use it for cologne. I did have to tie them up since a few of them were leaning to the center of the light. Here are some pics I cant get a pic of the trics since the lights are on but I will start trying to take pics before they go on or after they go on for a better look at them.

RSX, a little confused as to your documented grow on day 43 this October, member since May 2011, but pics are dated 2007. Am I missing something? Regardless, don't put sugars and shit like Flora Nectar in your rez. I did one time and it took a week of Physan20 and U2O2 to flush that crap from my system. Lesson learned the hard way. It was a free bottle, but cost me in disinfectants. Made my roots stink to high heaven.

if his camera is anything like mine every time the batteries die or are removed you have reset the time and date manually, which i dont do ether, my pics date back to 2007 i believe as well from today.
