I watched a guy on youtube that learned or copied a lot of frenchy but he had 530gs yield 15gs bubble and I was like wow that is low. edit wait no it was 50gs but he said that 2 to 3.5% is a average yield.

I just took one, I guess the first tin of press and repress werent all that good. One batch is a bit dark but the two that went well are a nice color. I am BAKED wow this is pleasent… Different buzz… I should have a tolerance and I do but I am well medicated. Took a dab of one of the better batches and vaped it with out turning bowl black. I could get used to this!

See I am glad I got to express a bit of what I like between dabs of high thc and etc. This is like the live resin I talked so fondly about but slightly better, hits with this tang to it. Hits hard and goes on. I feel a type a way of my rosin vs my store bought I am carrying right now. Like better!
I did not get to have much of this and not even accustomed to the lower thc so I am glad I love what comes out of it more than I thought I would.

I had the plate temps backwards, top was warmer. Woops. Working on the kief press, jeez christ, if I like flower rosin already… This going to be fire!

Unbelievable. Just a couple bad luck moments today, the hash rosin was almost put a way, was just getting the last bit into the tin and flicked into oblivion. No hope finding that thing. Was like .2 anyway. 40$ out the window. Im just frickin up cause its been a long day but still want to press a couple more pucks.

I totally had that coming, I suck at handling this kind of consistancy. It happened to me with shatter on a cold day. Takes a while handling it even to dab with it but wow, I just found out how I should vape it.
With the puffco, fill the bowl good and medium temp and dispose of it slightly sooner to keep bowl clean. High temps need full bowls and you cannot over load it so thats about it other than low temps but I want max vapor, thats what gets me baked.
The taste is better on medium, above that with harsh beginner tier rosin like mine it can have bad tastes. Especially if you push it past the time it should be Qtipped to keep clean. Less vapor but it is better with rosin or at least so far.

Under 64% RH use 90 micron which I have. I just put hygro meter in weed bag and sealed it, so far it is 58% RH so perhaps I got different results? Also temps can go up to 220 but lower temps will have it come out like badder. I am probably going to press a couple pucks in a minute. My lazy self need to fix my plants though first.
Edit I used a drill bit to twist into the cap though it went through it, T’was thee only hway. The plug is back on, I am happy, it doesn’t leak and looking at pics online the gauge comes half filled which is so strange. Soon as I realized it was fluid I put the plug back on but it just plunged right in.
I felt lucky and kept looking for my lost hash but still no luck. Basement, crap everywhere and probably got dirty anyway. Need to be careful! I was just all over the place clearing up space and setting up tables and eager to get started and right before first press I just thought it was water. The problem came when putting plug back on.
Im not normally like that, I take good care of my stuff.

Results. Chilled in fridge to help ball it up and get immediate feed back. The 7g press that went so well yielded 1g on dot and the other was 1.5 for 14gs which is still the yield I was stoked to be told I could get so good track so far.
About to press more at 90micron for 58%rh weed so it for sure is 3 months old but still press able. Figured out how to make the little envelope paper style. Read some on press club turns out they do have alot of info I just didnt see it at first.

Try pressing slowly at first then stop and let it warm up a bit before pressing full on. It gives everything time to heat and become more pliable.

So the green and white silicon tin is 1.5-2gs of blow out rosin. I hate blow outs, I almost thought they were a rare thing. I was doing it all without getting blow outs but yea that is what I meant when I said preheat, not the plates but the puck. A how to video said to get it just where it registers pressure and wait 2 mins.
So when I do that, it already starts oozing out rosin which is so addicting to watch. Then I gradually pump but something was off this time, perhaps stems or going to fast but people here said 2 mins max. Perhaps I got better results taking my time up to 8 mins.
The blow out rosin will make great edibles or smoke straight with weed, moon rock it or what ever. I pressed my last which was an eighth which yielded about .3 to .5. Cannot wait to press fresh flower which I may be able to get at store, just need to try harder to double check the stuff myself.
The eighths seemed like too little to press but is nice knowing they likely wont blow but 7gs shouldnt either. Also nice knowing you lose less if you press less and get a blow out.

Oooh yeah. Harvested just a month ago! And it looks frosty. It will be my first fresh press with the freshest stuff I could get. Pressing oz and half of it and got more kief to try that again and NOT flick it into oblivion. I don’t mind taking my time pressing less at a time as a one gram blow out BLOWS.
