Choosing a rosin press

How many gs kief? I need 6 to have a decent press and I double bag 37u inside 160u to keep the inner bag micron from bulging, preventing other things to pass through. I only succeeded twice though. Thats just what Id do again.
IMG_5098.jpeg I’m not sure how many Gs. It’s a good size pile.
I have some bags. But I have never used them, I am too cheap. The stuff I have I am deeming low quality, I am just practising. I am saving the bags for the AAAA+++ stuff that I grow next. :bigjoint:

To press 28gs into a pillow with a mold, how can I compress it with the press? I saw canucks grow use a shop press that has a cylinder that fit into the mold square and pressed it.

Considering pressing an oz at a time might save a lot of time. People step on it but rather not and doesnt work close to as good.

If you got like 60 for a rv washer then three five gallon buckets with bubble bags from 190 to 70 micron then you can make bubble hash try that taste and can press that into some amazing rosin also. Build a soil on YouTube on pressing rosin is awesome but long video very impressive. Guy one second place in conasorier for taste.

Oof, just realize I have a costly way of pressing. 87$ in bags per harvest so Im losing chunk of money.

Are you supposed to make a thicker puck if to use 7-14gs bottle tech? Stop squishing before it blows out? I had a few blow outs back to back doing 7gs.

Im having to do 5gs per bag for sure to not lose money but would like a cheaper solution but no blow outs. Maybe be super gentle. Itll be a pleasure to watch and collect.

That came to mind right away but a ways from that level. Just need to stop being greedy, 3.5$ a gram isnt end of world. I read using pre press mold bottle tech helps with blow outs and I never used it for 7gs.

I did get blow outs at 5gs, would just go down half gram at a time and less pressure till it doesnt. I guess strain dependent and something to also value from a strain.

I was new to pressing when doing 7gs and did several presses no blow out. Will see how it goes, 24oz to 70gs. My strain is doing what it does, throwing much more growth mid canopy late flower, I think Ill get close to my goal.

Can you alcohol wash and reuse stainless steel? I'd ask these guys if they might have some suggestions.

No affiliation just something I was looking at that caught my eye.

I never use a bag. I would also like a bag less mold that you can really fill up. Have little holes at the bottom. Have the heat things be drilled into the mold. The press won’t have plates. It will have the mold. Hire me Dabpress.

I read some of the qwiso thread or whatever its called. To vape off all the alcohol I just worry I will taste it still. Idk much about it though.

Yea Id love to use bags I dont want any plant matter in it. I did find blow outs dont always taint it. Still getting to know the whole process and whats still left behind unwanted that using too big a micron or no bag would leach out.

I know theres a huge difference in flower rosin and drysift rosin, almost as clean as bho. I want the cleanest best product but for now can only do with flower rosin.

I find if pressed right it can be pretty close to my drysift rosin in terms of taste all the way to the end.

As for washing with alcohol idk I read that half asleep but Id like to make use of the press $800 and made myself at home with that method.

Just realized the bags! But I found pure pressure agrify if thats the name, $310, $325 with shipping probably. 5k bags. $2.6 per 40 if my math is right. Too good be true but why no one in the bulk buy market?

Im middle class its what we do we buy bulk lol.

Hopefully this is the solution, are they good bags? Il buy em! Heck Ill review them here. Caught me by surprise its 1/3 rd of the costs just in bags. I culd easily do my thing 3.5gs a bag it works 100% of the time. Dabpress bags say it themselves to load less if its blowing out.

Pressclub bags claim to not blow out guarenteed. Hard to believe. Is it true? How re-usable re they? 2x9” bags with 20gs maybe reused could suit my needs dont yall think?

Lmao I'll put that guarantee no blow out to the test. I've NEVER had a blowout. If your blowing out your not letting your products heat up before the press begins and you are applying too much pressure too fast. Take it low and slow first press for the best quality and then press a second time at a higher temp for a second higher yield or use the pucks to make edibles. (Love my weed doughnuts).
