For what its worth I have had problems with rockwool seed germs fine that just stunts and do nothing, maybe Im doing it wrong.
Might be...I use rockwool fine...also paper towels when I'm too impatient to wait for the 24 hours in PH'd water that rockwool requires. All the rockwool seedlings seem to be more solid in the soil after they're repotted versus seedlings from paper towels. Same thing with seeds germed in soil. Make sure to Ph it and never let it dry out...should be straight. Also, don't push the seed so far down. Quarter of an inch is good....and closing the hole part way gently will give the seed more surface contact with the rockwool.
