Thanks Bro! Yea the Red D is almost 3 weeks into flowering so I'm hoping no more than 5-6 weeks until I'm drying some good bud She smells sweet already, I can't wait to see how it turns out!

I've been doing a lot of reading on venilation and proper light size for your grow area and after doing a couple formulas I've realized that the 600hps would most likely just be a little over the temps I want to be dealing with in my little 6 square foot closet. So to keep things nice and cool I'm most likely giong to go with a 400 air cooled hood and a 6" inline fan and carbon filter to suck out as much hot air as possible to keep my girls happy! Its definitely overkill but for the temp and humidity I'm dealing with I figure its the right decision! I just wanted to talk out loud with my experience because someone might want to do something similar to this grow in the future when they see what it produces lol.. I'll probably be picking up the fan and fliter real soon but I might just finish out the auto's under the 250mh and cfl's and then finish the flowering girls under the 400

Sounds good, let us know how it goes! The way its looking, I will only be smoking on the dwarf's during christimas then the syrup and quzar hopefully soon after. Then after all the auto's are done the real fun begins

SO I topped Quzar which was supposed to be an auto from buddha seeds but she hasn't shown sex and shes getting big quick! Over 4 weeks of veg by now, everything else has shown and she just keeps getting bigger so I had to slow down her lateral height a little. The shitty thing is I might have to manually move her back and forth every day to force her into flowering by putting on 12/12 I'm gonna give her another week and see how she does but I cant veg her for another 8 or so weeks, under the Mh without dwarfing all the other strains I have going... That was the whole point in vegging the babies along side of the auto's that are flowering... Anyway other than that everything is coming along great! Anyone have to move a plant everyday throughout the entire 8 week flowering period? lol That would be a PITA but I figure it will work.

Fresh pic, Lights just came on. All the big girls where watered yesterday, everything seems to be drinking up the nutes pretty well so far. I just hit the flowering girls with a half dose of tiger bloom and I hit Quzar, the auto that never auto'd with full strength veg nutes because I'll probably force flowering on her in the next week after she heals from the topping. I'll probably start updating once a week from here on out just to show the growth each week. Well Here they are until next weekend

I carried a plant in and out of 18/6 to flower it for about 4 weeks. Wasn't too bad to remember but timing was far from accurate lol flowers are lookin good, looks like some in all stages no?

looking real good bro, you topped the auto? youre not suppose to do that, lets hope you didnt cut the main cola off. on autos, no topping, no cloning, nothing, you just let it grow. they have a set lifespan, they know what to do. but, if it works, more power to ya!! LoL.

Good to know, thanks SG. I'll probably start flowering her next weekend if shes still being stubborn! Yea good eye, all the auto's are at different stages. Red dwarf is just starting her 4th week of flowering, she hasn't grown past about 8 inches. Shes gonna be a fat little girl though! White D is a week behind her and syrup just showed a few days ago so I'm looking at a harvest every week or so in december

Yea I know your not supposed to top an auto but this plant wasn't showing any signs of flowering and she is already as tall as the tallest flowering auto "white dwarf" and she hasn't even started stretching yet. Plus her side branching is crazy so she was basically begging me to top her lol.. I only topped the very top so it wouldn't slow down growth to much. I think even if she starts to auto she still has plenty of time to recover from the topping and produce 6 or so main colas instead of 1.. I'm gonna snap a pic of her so you can see what I mean

Can't speak from experiance but from what I've read 16-20 hours seems to be optimal for autos...sometimes the breeder even tells you the best photo period which is nice.

I figured I would snap a few pics of each so we can watch the growth on this journey
These are all the auto's, well the first "Quzar hasn't shown yet" but if she doesn't show soon I'll have to force her into flowering by moving her into a dark area for 6 extra hours each day because now all the girls are on 18/6. Quzar is also the one I topped because It was just shooting up and I needed to keep the canopy as even as possible. Most actual autofowers you wouldn't want to top but use your judgement.

From what I've read you are correct the more light the better for an auto. I know CD grew his on 20/4 with good results, I decided to go with 18/6 for a few different reasons. FF nutes have worked great for me so far! I do however plan to try something new for my future grows when I use up the rest of the FoxFarms. There soil on the other hand I will continue to use until I switch over to hydro, which might happen soon! Thanks for stopping in!

Thats why I'm on 18/6! I have read most running 20/4 with great results though.

I'm pretty sure Quzar is starting to show hairs! Thier just starting to pop out, it looks like she might have just started flowering on halloween

looking real good bro!! autos can grow on any light schedule, 12/12 to 24/0. that makes it good for putting them in with other plants on whatever light schedule there on. happy to hear the syrup is a girl!!

The Vanilla Kush is a good one, yields pretty well too. Grows chunky type rounded buds that kinda blow out slightly, but stay dense. I like it, good flavor and night time buzz. Good luck with it.

Quzar went into a 5 gallon bucket today, she was begging me for more room lol.. So I moved everything around and it seems to be doing great with the new arrangement! I'm ordering my fan and filter tomorrow then the 400 hps is next! Stay tuned cause things are starting to get good, red dwarf is only 4 weeks in and shes already fattening up like crazy under the MH and cfl's!!

Thanks bro, how was your syrup? Did she grow really crazy leaves, honestly she looked a little rough through veg but she made it and has some pretty decent growth since she started flowering! Looks more like a mids pheno to me but who knows?

Awesome Wolverine! Thanks for dropping in and giving some info on the vanilla! I also have an OG Kush 18 Clone from Reserva Privada, that I've heard is the shit smoke wise! Shes showing some great growth so far buts shes still pretty tiny. I also Have 2 Blackberry's going that are a couple weeks behind the VK. Stick around and I'll throw some pics up of the vanilla so you can check them out! I'm about to give them there first top so I'll probably do a before and after

Yeah I'll drop in from time to time, I like to compare how different strains go for others as well as the different phenos. The OG18 is good smoke, has a nice taste and strong stone (I have two friends that grow it).

Okay took a few more pics! Here's the Quzar before she went into her 5 gallon today, she was already filling out the 2 gal pretty well with her roots!

Here's the VK "2 gallons", OG kush "Far left, Red party Cup" and Blackberry's, "2 yellow party cups to the right." These will be vegging for the next 8 weeks or so of to the side of the auto's then flowered under a 400 watt hortilux hps Oh yea I have a Super lemon Haze clone that I'm working on getting to root as we speak!
