It does look like a Ca deficiency! What are you feeding them? They look like they might have problems with Mg &/or Ca deficiency.
damn .. i just reread that post, and did i ever come off sounding like a prick.. sorry, wasn't my intent.. what i was trying to say is that i thought that c99 had normal leaf issues to begin with , like the double serated leaf i was talking about...i always thought that true c99 had that double serated leaf?
nah i know what you meant....thats why i replied to it that way, its a good thing most of us speak stoner here LOLdamn .. i just reread that post, and did i ever come off sounding like a prick.. sorry, wasn't my intent.. what i was trying to say is that i thought that c99 had normal leaf issues to begin with , like the double serated leaf i was talking about...
No its fresh coco coir....and i did just look at my nutes and tho thye have micros i dont see Ca in there...just Mag, Copper and the other ones. Could this be a genetic flaw from my rookie breeding as none of the others have this?It does look like a Ca deficiency!
Or Ca lockout from accumulation of salts in the grow media. Are you reusing the soil/media that's in those solo cups from a previous grow?
I did think at one point i found a new pheno but i wasnt real confident with that lol..but i guess its possible. I read it happened in UBC Chemo seeds when they bred to F4 i think they found a new pheno that wasnt present in earlier breedings. Im trying to find info on P75 and earlier Cindy to see if it occured but no deals yet.Nonono it's nothing wrong that you did with the breeding. It could, however, be a different phenotype than the others. It could be an abnormal pheno which needs alot more Calcium than the others that can pop up in certain crosses. It may have even been a common pheno in early C99 breeding that they bred out, but which is still a recessive gene that sometimes appears when breeding with C99.
LOL yea it stanks a fuckin treat..but only for about 24h or so then its gone...i keep it in a safe place tho ( ive had nitemares of my dogs getting into it) the stink is worth the results tho all day!u have huge nads using fish emulsion in the house. doesnt that stuff stink, id be terrified of spilling it
yah think? hahahaha.Ive used these nutes for a while, but i have just started to use fish emulsion in the last 2 weeks, so this might have fucked the pH.
right on, hes prolly right, my 'advise' above is from the perspective of soil so take it with a grain of salt, there is a problem which is at least simuliar to this that can come up in soil growing in late flowering and its not associated with PH in my experience, to me it is a mystery why I have this oddity every couple hundred or so plants because I can not find anything wrong when it happens, likely an error on my end.yah think? hahahaha.
When my PH gets out of wack and to high in my coco grows, I have gotten splatches, just like those. And I never use fish emoltion. You should be using Coco specific nutrients. People add manure and bat guana to Coco like they did in soil, then wonder why their plants are dieing. Coco is very easy to grow in. but if you over load it with stuff that is not needed you are going to get a curve ball. I have seen other people adding lime, Perlite, bat guana, manure and fuck me!!!!!!! If these people want to use all this CRAP, then just go back to soil.
I also see a lot of people running PH at 5.9-6.5. This is COCO!!! Not Soil. I know it looks like soil, and such, but it is not soil.
Beginner growers that are using COCO, need to stop taking advice from people that grow in SOIL. This is like taking advice from someone on how to ride a horse, when they have only rode a motorcycle. Just because it fits between your legs, does not mean they are the same. I am unable to blame this even on genetics.
Also, you should check the PH of your run off at least once a week. If it gets above 5.9, you should flush and then adjust your ph to like 5.0-5.3 until the run off gets between 5.3-5.9
thanks...this makes alot of sense to me now....i was going about it as i would with soil grows but im not adding amendments. I gotta get a pH tester tomorow, i like growing in coco so i might as well conform to the coco lol. Time to learn how to ride a horse..ive crashed alota motorcyclesyah think? hahahaha.

Well that's not being totally fair, you must keep in mind it could be a genetic thing then since you are growing from seed the other plants are for the most part irrelevant as you cant take genetics out of the picture, I had assumed your others plants were clones, do what others say and test your ph and such, it seems obvious from your description the fish emulation is the direct cause in particular the way it effected the medium for this specific plant, however it could be a genetic problem, you cant rule that out as you have grown from seeds. A plant from seed is always a dice roll in the genetic pool, You need a lot of plants from any seeds that has not been backcrossed twenty times or more you will need hundreds of plants per run to surely find the true gems.thanks...this makes alot of sense to me now....i was going about it as i would with soil grows but im not adding amendments. @ deprave
that sounds kinda like what i got going on here, it seems healthy and growing normaly just mutated like this. 3 have sexed males and 1 girl...im hoping this is a girl as well so i can see how it flowers in comprison.
thanks people
