Confused.
Attached I a pic of my bud I chopped to view under a scope. The vast majority of the trichs are clear. Quite a few are amber. None are white/milky/cloudy...wth?

This is a consistant phenomenon with all 7 of my syrains...

Now I put some dispensery stuff under the scope and most look white. I don't even see any amber at all. Just solid white...

Makes no sense?

Additionally. One is my granddaddy purple which has been going about 11-12 weeks with the sativas...the hairs have gone from a vibrant red to a brown. Still clear and amber...is this overdone?

Thanks guys!

Note - some may appear cloudy in the photo but it is out of focus as I took the photo with my phone through the eyepiece of a scope. Theyre clear and amber only.

Environmental reasons can cause trichs to colour which sounds like the case if they're still clear.
I did have a small stretch of time (few days) where it got hot here and I didn't check my temps. Come to find out it for those days it was 85-89f in there. Could that be it? Will the trichs continue to mature still to white?

The never ending trichome dilemma. I remember when people just harvested their plants when they were done just by visual inspection.

What does the plant look like? Not just a small scoped image of some trichomes.

It's already chopped up. Here's a nug shot. The ones I took down appeared done to the eye ( took em down before I got the scope). Leaves purpled, hairs receded into the bud.. I can post pics of the ones still going tomorrow.
