So I finally have everything ready to go and am planning on getting my first clones in the next few days; however, I'm having a hard time keeping my temperature controlled. Im planning on starting to grow 4 plants...

I have 12 CFLs for lights (23W)..
2 6" fans for air circulation.

Heres some pics of everything..

http://tinypic.com/edit.php?pic=b4i9m0&s=7 -- Fan for circulation

You guys have any advice on how to keep my temp down? Its staying around 88 degrees fahrenheit right now and am trying to get it under control so I can get this up and going tomorrow.

hey bud, so u decided to go with the CFLs, not a bad choice considering u already had temp issues (i didnt know)....and just in case u didnt know or no one told u...CFLs give off most of their light from their sides so its good that all the bulbs sides are semi paralell with the (soon to be) foliage...as far as controlling the temps...u might have to up your exhaust fan, i dont know what the temp of the fresh air your pulling in is but your temps wont be much higher than outside fresh air temp if your constantly cycling in fresh air and exhausting it out before it gets a chance to heat up and sit stagnant...keep this in mind, you need to completely cycle out the whole tents worth full of air preferrable 3 times a minute...soooo....if your tent is 4 feet by 4 feet by 6 feet high you multiply them... 4x4=16x6=126 cubic feet...soooo...your gonna want a fan exhausting out the tent atleast 2 to 3 times that...which means youll need like 240-350ish cfm fan pulling out the humid/stale/hot air... theres my 2 cents, lol, dont spend it all in one place

Lol thanks bro for the response bud. And yea unfortunately in the room where my tent is its already 77 degrees which is already hot enough.. Not sure why but its the hottest room in the house for some reason (dont know why i chose to use this room for my grow lol). And just to make sure... so I need a fan which will circulate air into the tent and then also have another fan which will take out all the 'bad' air correct? thanks for the help!

yea my man, dude u DEF need a fan circulating the air around inside the tent, preferrably a circulating fan because you need air moving around and constantly moving because the foliage on ur plants r gonna get thick with leaves and buds (hopefully)...you can have the bomb exhaust system but if you dont have a fan moving around the air thats sitting in between the stem and leaves and such, ur gonna get mildew or mold...almost guarnteed.and im allllmost positive that little fan u have in the tent is the exact same one i seen at walmart for like 5 or 10 buck, super small, comes in either black or blue color, wire frame...that thing doesnt move any air whatsoever unless u have one of those at the base of every plant ur gonna wanna upgrade that guy ASAP, and if ur exhasut fan that u have rigged on the tent wall is the same as that little one, forget about it, i think that thing is like 5 cfm.lol,,, just get a bomb ass exhaust fan and some type of stronger circulating fan for the plants and ur temps will drop almost for sure...those cfls produce a miniscule amount of heat, if u dont get the temp problem fixed b4 you throw that 600 watter in there, ur gonna see temps of 100+...for real

Lol wow you are spot on with that guess about the fans haha got em from walmart and definitely come in all those colors lol. Im about to go searching for some fans and try to keep the temp down. Will take some pics when I get it under control. Thanks for the tips on how to get the temp down... Pretty sure i'll be able to get it right today and hopefully get some cones thrown in there by tonight!
