The end result of Climate Change as far as the human species is the same no matter which way we go. If it goes crazy and we turn into Venus we die, if we cut energy use and CO2 to barely livable standards we die.
Yeah, so what are yo gonna do? Just fuck it. I’ll be dead before it’s a real problem. Brilliant.

Do you have any kids or grandkids asshole?

Speaking of nonsense that comes from the fossil fuels industry. The campaign to promote recycling seems to come from the people making the stuff and they knew from the beginning that recycling will only make a small dent in pollution from plastics.

"The feeling was the plastics industry was under fire, we got to do what it takes to take the heat off, because we want to continue to make plastic products," Thomas says. "If the public thinks the recycling is working, then they're not going to be as concerned about the environment."

Kleen Koal. "They're going to take it out and clean it." -Loser 45

"the US can't get it's own coal but sells it to China who doesn't clean it up. "

If only he had another four years he could show us what clean coal could do for our economy. We fucked up. We coulda had clean coal and instead we have this dirty wind power.

Wow, had no idea.

Literally just mowed the lawn, btw. It stinks up the whole yard and house and my clothes. Might start looking into something else..
I have the rechargeable mower sold by Lowes. Charge lasts about an hour if the grass isn't real tall. I like it a lot.

I do. It's been a scam since the beginning. Skimming the tax dollars off. Durbin's been behind this for a couple of decades.
So Dick Durbin is the mastermind behind this coal scam? It has nothing to do with the coal producers or others pushing it? Durbin isn't even in the top 20 recipients receiving donations from the coal industry. 90% are Republicans.

Well of course it's the coal producers behind it. Durbin is just the one who can direct the taxpayers money to pet projects like this, for decades.

Obama made a big stink about new regs. Those never got approved though and 2008 was the last update. The newer regs would have basically closed all coal plants but never could get out of Congress.

This caused the coal mining co stocks to collapse. Which Soros bought up a large part of. :) Durbin has been behind this Future Gen concept from the beginning. There's also a big coal plant in Sothern Illinois that is one of the cleanest meeting the 2008 regs. Prairie State Energy Campus. He has greased the rails for this.
And way back in the 70's he bailed out the nuclear plants in Illinois by writing off Federal loans. Clinton IL was the last one, I think it got bailed out twice, not counting the latest bailout by Illinois legislators.

He along with many others. Mostly Republicans pushing to keep the coal industry alive. There's a difference from pushing clean coal to reduce emissions and pushing it to appease their Republican donors like the Koch Brothers which is why the Republicans do it.
