probably can use it. people have used it for tissue culture because i think it is a pure source of NAA( naplthyle acetic acid or something like that i can spell andi dont have the bottle in front of me) what is atm? im not good with slang i just learned what "imo" means lol. i think will see bumps tonight it got real cold the night b4 and the water temps only got up 78. its looking like a 3 or 4 day process im just trying to push my limits. 2 days would be the bomb but it doesnt happen every time i think it is somewhat strain dependent too. as far as ppm goes well there is a lot said about it but not alot known. you could have a ppm high as hell but with a bunch of inert chemicals that dont react in any way to plants i think ppm has more to do with chealted chemicals and salts. i have never tested my ppm but i would guess with my mixture its under 1000 ppm. want to buy one but i cant figure out if it will help me with anything besides cloning.. my plants just use vitamin enriched water(probably under 1000 ppm) and compost tea which i know mine is on the ppm of mud lol. works great tho. do you use tap or bottled water in you cloner?
atm, at the moment. or I guess that acronym does mean a few other things, some vulgar! so anyway sounds like you run your temps at the higher end of the rooting temp range, I'll probably set my heater up just a bit next run.

i will update in 10 hours thats when the water temp will be on the rise.
done did it, I saw nothing special, I will be giving it another go though as soon as I can afford another fixture, got two tubes but only one fixture. The blackstar 500 led I just bought has UV too. Also IR.

I see you bought the cfl, I bought two 24 inch t8 tubes. wish those things were easy to find in 4 foot t5.

what? you can't see who +rep you either? I could at one time and then someones silly fucking spam filter spanked my hand and took my PM privy away and now I can't see the names that +rep me.

i live in the area if a zoo so all the pet stores stock some kind of these bubls.(had to go to 3 stores to find this one) i actualy bought cuz some udue proved hpw stupid i was. come to find out hid only has a small output of uva (halide is the only one that has enough to make through the 2 layers of glass hood and bulb anything lower is blocked out with a uv blocking chemical.i bought one cfl for now. im gonna go buy another one here in 2 weeks just wanted to test it out first on a couple plants first. yeah they where trying sell me on a 2ft t5 fixture(single bulb) but im trying to find a 6 bulb one right now to replace my 250w halide in veg. then i want to put that in with my 400w mh with an 270 hps bulb(its a dimmable digital ballast) for 12 hours and the uvb for 6. (remove the 400w hps)

they make a mh bulb made for only the last 10 days of flower, it emits a bunch of UV, sunpulse I think is the brand.

i want constant natural looking light not specific spectrums.

harriken lowering the pH allows nutes and minerals(these are more soluble in acid) to be more easily available to cutting. yes i added nutes super thrive and tap water.

i will update as soon as water temp gets high again had to put a heating pad underneath it got super cold 50 degrees im gonna have to retry this so i will take some new cuttings as soon as these finish.

Ahh ok, didn't notice you said you added nutes.

I tend to transplant cuttings before they need nutes, but its just different strokes for different folks!

no its just a low dose. the minerals help induce cytokin production a least thats the theory and the tap water has chlorine and other stuff mainly im after the chlorine to help keep everything sterile.

thats one expensive bulb (sunpulse) it probably works but not cost efficient...

I don't use them but my nephew does, I believe more in introducing small amounts of UV throughout the flower cycle and the last 10 days seems silly that there would be much more trich production.

cant get pic cammera battery died. nothing new too show anyways sorry i think i have failed. i gonna give this a go again here soon i think i let the temps get too low bcuz i dont even have callusus(just whit pin pricks caullusus probably show tonight or the next day) and i want to upgrade the pump size to 400gph. what size is the pipe on your pump db?(the adapter that is) i will get a clone in 2 days up here tho. it is possible, conditions just have to be right.

so this is 48 hours right? dammit try try again as they say.

I use threaded 1/2 pipe from the irrigation section of home depot. they have all kinds of sizes plus ones that you can scribed and snap off at a certain length.
Dont feel bad about the 2 day thing I'm still trying to get roots on my euphoria, although I do think I see some nice bumps starting they're really big cuts (came from an accident with a plant in veg, dropped a box fan on it from 5 feet :O ), they'll be nice when then finally pop roots.

jesus I'm just now seeing roots here, I'll be switching to hormex as a rooting solution but won't do anything else different.

That's awesome, I'll be making a similar cloning machine this weekend, I probably have enough spare parts laying around, I already have an extra 500gph pond pump to use as well. Either going to destroy my cooler or go buy another 5 gallon bucket, not sure yet. I do know that I am done with the 18 gallon totes though, those things leak like B! lol

Oh, I got a question for you, maybe you mentioned it and I missed it but, how long do you have your sprayers in the cloner on? Unfortunately I am unable to get a cycle timer so the best I can do is 15 minutes on and 15 minutes off.
