not really (no offense PF) but ive done a couple pollen swaps... and it just wont work coming thru tha male. to many environmental variables.. you can sel to some one local maybe, but ive had nothing but bad luck wit it in the mail. i would just usse it personally.
 
Well it's a non issue, I decided not to keep the males. Sorry to those who were looking forward to seeing that! It's just not in the cards right now for me to deal with them. I will probably explore some breeding down the road, but for now I have all the plants I need and a bubble cloner, so I'm just going to focus on developing my growing thumb for now. I decided to just go ahead and get the mother chamber set up inside the closet and ready for the two fem seeds I have, (1 Dutch Passion Strawberry Cough, 1 Critical Jack Herer) going to get those started in there inside a humidity dome.

@about 28 days into flowering I'm going to take clones of some of what's growing as well, also for keeping as mothers... not sure what yet... I'd like to keep that herijuana going even though it's not very vigorous... it is the only herijuana seed that survived. So I'll clone that, and probably Jackberry. I have Kolossus and Anesthetic seeds left, so I'll hold off on those as my mother chamber isn't huge.

They're already starting to shoot up in 12/12... I found them growing into the lights when I checked today.. whoops! I adjusted height... I've got a bloom feed mix bubbling which I will give them tomorrow morning when lights are on.

Tomorrow I am going to do one more sweep for males and then go ahead and start the SCROG setup. I hope the plants stretch enough on the sides to take advantage of the scrog... don't really know what to expect...
 
There... just popped both of the seeds into tiny starter cups. I'm not going to do separate germination this time... I'm not sure I'm too keen on that method. I'm going to try just keeping them temped and humidity domed and see how it goes.
 
Agh, I think I got another anesthetic male. I decided to pop my last two new anesthetic seeds with the cough and jack herer. I want to see what that strain can do.
 
Seeds are becoming addictive... I already have my next two grows planned... just ordered some raspberry cough seeds...

That's how I do it every time and I have never not had one pop for me in more than 2-3 days. I find it's the best way as I don't have to deal with breaking the damn tap root off. Just keep it lightly misted and never let it get completely dry and a little bit of light.

Indeed, fux dat, so to speak. TOo many things can go wrong with paper towel method...

I made tiny cups from the inside piece of a plastic eggshell case, poked holes in the bottom of each one, and stuck 'em inside the rest of the plastic egg shell case. Just a little tiny humidity dome to get them going and help trap the heat coming out of the monitor it's sitting on, which holds nicely around 82-83 degrees.

I know exactly how you feel. I have some dinafem white cheese, ch9 vintage 2006, dinafem white widow, the church, and black sugar on the way that should be hear tomorrow or Tuesday, fingers crossed they didn't get snagged this time as they went through customs in Chicago instead of N.Y due to Sandy. Hope I don't get the dreaded letter.

Well here's hopin' they get through to ya... I am looking forward to trying the Critical Jack Herer freebie I got from attitude when I ordered the strawberry cough seed... nice two-fer... but I'm so ahead of myself, long before that I'll get to try kolossus and jackberry, and MAYBE a herijuana if I'm lucky...

I hope so bro, I really hope so. I did guaranteed shipping with a t-shirt so they should be ok but even if not the tude will reship it. Just sucks that I will have to wait for the other ones get here. Just gotta be positive and say to myself that they made it through.

You can never have to many strains. Marijuana is an ever evolving plant and it's only going to get better. I'm a connoisseur of seeds/genetics if you say and I try to keep some of the originals around for breeding project I've got planned :)

yeah me too... about 14+ just took count and threw a list up on my journal, just braggin lol, in fact im surprised ive managed to keep so many alive.
 
whats your room size? i got all mine crammed in a 2x4x5 tent, with a split level some t12s up top(freshly planted cuttings and seedlings) and 6 bulb t5 holding down my main 9 mothers. and the 9 in veg as well as my bubble cloners.
 
Which room you want the size of? lol. My veg room is my closet that is 5x3.5x7 with a 250 mh, and my clone/mothers is a 3x2x4 tent with a t5, and then my flower is a 4x4x8 tent with a 400hps in it and supplemental lighting when I feel it's needed or when I cram a bunch for a sog.
 
My mother chamber is pretty small (about 40"x30"x18") so I'm gonna have to be careful.. :) I can always expand later tho. ;)
