Update on the Blue Pit (Dog x Deep Blue)

Pollenated 4 of the females today, each with the 2 selected males. Here they are:

1/
small, waxy leaves, looks real indica leaning, tite nodes. Smells quite sweet, like the Deep Blue at the moment.

2/
medium in height, also nice dark colouring, was way ahead of the others to start off with as well. Also has fairly webbed based leave shape but not as much as 1, and the leaves at the stem are almost more pinnate shaped, although sugar leaves differ slightly to fan leaves in look, very frosty one as well. Slightly taller plant than 1 as well. Looks like a nice hybrid.

3/
Tallest one, quite skinny and reminds me of the dog a bit more in look. Very interesting flower construction, super tight pistils, looks like they'll be like rocks as well. Although quite tall, it has a fairly nice cola, and side branches are quite spindley, but fairly vigorous in growth. Really interested to see how this smokes. Again, starts with the webbed fan leaves but then more pinnate when going into flowerr, also quite like my dog.

and it's a sticky one.

4/
Last but not least, this one is almost as big as 3, but a lot bushier and real nice structure to it. Super sticky and resinous, really nice growth rate in the flowers, looks like it could pull some weight. Also with the fat leaves, but pinnate shaped at stems so showing nice hybrid traits there I feel. also really looking forward to sample this one.

Peace,

1 - sweet sweet sweet
2 - skunky and sweet
3 - more interesting smell, hard to explain, at first I thought nutty, caramelish.
4 - got the rubber to it that turns into a deep creamy smell

I think 3 and 4 are also for me as 1 and 2 are quite Deep Blueish which is not what I am looking for.

man, some of the pheno's are really starting to impress. frost and fast finishing, one was done in just over 7 weeks, the reek off a couple of them is seriously skunky, 1 keeper is going to be hard to pick.

Thanks Nugg Life. I believe in keeping things simple for myself. I have a compost heap and recycle nigh on everything from my garden, kitchen and grow (includes all roots, leaf matter - post extraction - normally ice/water, but I tend to leave out large stems and branches).
I prep my compost with a grass product for keeping ph in check, diatomaceous earth for conditioning, and dried coniffer nutes that have myco's in them as well. I generally only water my plants in veg. In flower I add bio nova super soil mix and will add that maybe 1 x per week. And just plain Water 1 x per week. No boosters. That's it.

he's just not admitting to the elves and fairy's that arrive during lights out for the polishing and waxing....he'd have you believe it's his skills and having his garden dialed in.

I'll be using my own compost, I mean gnomes and fairys, next grow :-) Iv already gone without bottled nutes for a while now! Feels good and I think the plants are thankful fore it. Good compost is more divers and ALIVE than damn near anything you'll find at a shop... A fresh batch of AACT is so alive you gotta car for and feed it as if its your new pet lol.
Much respecto, D.
