Greetings riu! I'm adding a 5' x 5' tent to my area, looking for advice on how best to light it up. I need relatively low heat of LED, but also want to take advantage of the UV and other benefits of ceramic metal halide. Buildasoil has a combo deal with a 315w CMH + (4) x 100w COB fixtures. Seems like a great plan, but have heard some conflicting info on how much sq footage can be covered.
Would that set up be sufficient/efficient for a 5x5x7 tent?
What I've been considering so far - 2x315w CMH, side by side
2x150w CMH side-by-side + 4-6 LED fixtures
1x315w CMH + 4-6 LED
I've never used CMH before; obviously at such a reduced wattage the heat output will be far less than the 1k HPS I'm using now, but the fact that I can't use a cool tube gives me pause. I run a 400 CFM extraction fan with filter plus, obviously, circulation fans. Hoping to use the same fan setup for the new tent.
Your thoughts, experiences, suggestions and observations are greatly appreciated, help me out RIU!
