I remember a character on a weekend movie show (one of those where they'd show scary movies and a "host" would take the viewer in and out of commercial breaks) and the hosts name was Sammy Terry. That motherfucker terrified me! He'd have me believing the werewolves or vampires or whatever that weeks 'feature attraction' had in it were going to be over aty my house that night thirstin for my blood! Fuckin A-hole! lol

I've only heard highlight's from the show. The one that sticks out the most is the one with a guy who calls in claiming to be on the run from the govt. because he used to work at area 51 and has knowledge of things that EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW! He sounded really scared and shit was believable imo, especially when, as he was getting ever more hystrical, the phne call starts gettin all staticky and then suddenly cuts off!
Well I played that audio for my nephew (a 20something know-it-all) and he seemed interested to say the least. Next time he come back, he googles up a link to the EXACT SAME DUDE FROM THE CALL ON COAST TO COAST AM talking about the call being a fake and doing a brief re-enactment of parts of it. I was really disappointed! But really not that surprised. As with most supernatural phenomena this had a reasonable explanation. I did not say all I said most. But that kinda soured me on the whole "Coast to Coast AM" thing. But I'll still frequent this thread to see what's being discussed. I'm a skeptical believer I guess u would say.

midnight - i'm a grown @$$ woman and some of those shows still freak me out. Especially the ghostly what is it? EVP? and the demon possessed people (shiver).

I've been doing that for years. I've worn out a couple of radios under the pillow. The DX-399 I got from radio shack has held up the longest. thankfully it's also battery operated. the damn power cord fritzed out a couple years ago.

I still listen nightly but by the time I do lay down to sleep I'm a whupped dog and usually under in 5 minutes.

Pony - that coral castle place is a trip, it would be super cool to visit - and a lot closer than the pyramids of egypt which some say was also built by some kinda' anti-gravity something'r'other.

Boomer - I'm gon'na have to check out that radio. Ear buds don't work and I'm skeptical about those speaker-in-pillow deals. I can hardly make it through the first hour or so while in a comfortable position. But if I'm working on a painting or something the show carries me through.

So tonite's show actually looked interesting - and a totally different host too.
