Coco coir.....Fabric pots or plastic?

Thanks for the lightning fast replies!!

Maybe I will try some fabric 3's and some 5's.....I even have some 2 gallon plastic nursery pots so maybe a few of those as well....I'm running a 4 x 8 tent with HPS now....and maybe one of these days I'll buy some good LED's. Should be able to get 10 in there probably. Normally I run 8.

I run 1.8 gal plastic containers and it's more than enough. I just port them because they don't have enough holes.

I reuse my coco so I break up my root mass and I can say everytime the root mass is far bigger far quicker in fabric.

I like to use plastic for veg, potting up for ease but I drill holes in the bottom 3rd of all plastic pots and that works well for building root mass quicker in comparison to not doing it.

Yes you can see salt build up on fabric pots , if they are allowed to dry regularly.

what's your process for reusing your coco??

They break down. Something like cannazym helps speed the process up.

I got that information from the canna site, saved me breaking down and siving all my coco everytime.

So far I've not had issues.

I used to chop it all up and siv it with a garden siv . Until I came across that method.

Cut out the core and plant straight into it and flush it, then crack on.

I will still siv it once in a while.
