So much do here I’m little confused lol. Sorry to be a pest. So after reading everyone’s suggestion. I don’t want change everything at one time. So would it be best to keep my R/0 and use no calmag and see what happens. 2 years ago I did tap water when we had better water used 8/16 Lucas formula and 1tsp cal mag and grew thesethey did take a long to get big in veg but grew.

Agreed. All of the percentages are different depending on the source. That's why some people buy RO systems and build their own water.
I never brought up tap water yet you put words in my mouth. Why say this? Just trying to stir up shit?
Also what you're saying is people who use tap are going lockout their plants.
Nutrients + CalMag isn't the same as Nutrients + tap water.

Go for it, and if you start seeing deficiencies then you'll have a good idea what's causing them. They might be fine all the way through. I just know that I never got deficiencies or toxicities from adding a sensible amount of calmag to RO water.

You're right, you didn't bring up tap. I was just working with the logic that if using the recommended dosage of calmag as a base for RO can cause problems, a lot of tap water users would be screwed. I'm not trying to stir up shit and it's nothing personal. I'm just trying to make the point.

I prefer the consistency of RO.
Especially for the stable PH in my res.

As others mentioned, I would definitely raise temps. I have a lot to learn, but I'd try the RO with out cal/mag and post more pics if she isn't happy. People often throw too much in the water and that can lead to lockout.
This might help....

First watering with just maxibloom see what happens.
Do you rinse and buffer the coco with anything before planting your seedlings? My tap water last night 800 ppm and 1.7 ec. Making my mind go crazy when I had a few okay grows.

The Botanicare bricks I've been using come washed and buffered, I think all or most of the good brands do. In the past I just hydrated the bricks, but this time I rinsed it down to 100 ppm with RO to start seeds in solo cups, got that from the article Tint posted on page 1. They're nice and snug in a small cooler at 78°. I'm heating it with a 10w outdoor LED lying face down and plugged into an Inkbird heat controller.

BTW, I just calibrated my two COM-80 EC meters. I also checked my two cheap meters, a no name and a TDS-3, then I threw them in the trash!!!!

So been 6 days of watering one plant just r/o and about 1/4 maxibloom I didn’t flush either Roots in my pots are full and plant seems to be showing some growth. The other plant I kept with calmag and r/o and plant is looking pretty bad. I will post some photos later. I germinated some new seeds and should be sprouting soon.

Hello everyone

Some feedback. I’m at 7 weeks and one plant is I would say almost 2 feet now but I did some LST. I have been feeding 1/2 strength maxibloom with R/O no cal mag at 6.0 ph so. Leaves start to grow twisted in beginning and seem to look better after some growth. I was wondering do I have bugs I looked and didn’t see any. Here Are some photos

Not sure I will try and check later. I have never tested run off before. Just reading around. I wonder if I have some kind of bug
Take a close look underneath the leaves with a scope. Look at multiple leaves, you'll see them if they're there.
