Trichoderma are present in coco, but supplementation certainly will improve the chances of colonization. Add a good broad spectrum like Great White, the Sub-culture duo, or Myco Madness. I've never used the Rhizo, but I hear it's good stuff I've just never researched it so I can't say with certainty.

rhizotonic is top, i used it along with another plant that i didnt use the rhizotonic on, and the diffrence, rhoots grow much quiker and much stronger ! i compared the roots at the end of the grow, and what i see with the rhizotonic the roots are much thicker and much more white in colour!

coco has made growing so eazy that 99% of first time grower get it right the first time, thats why its recommended by almost every one who trys it

Im gonna be starting my 2nd grow, My first was a really low funded crappy go, Now im going on my 2nd try in the next few weeks with some femmed seeds, BF Blue Cheese, In coco/hydroton hempy buckets. im doing hydroton on the bottom for a resevoir 2inches then the rest CoCoTek Fine coir bale. im gonna be running the Floranova Lucas formula with epsom salt.. Starting in Sure To Grow 1.5" cubes.
Was looking for some input if this sounds like it should work out. Or should i possibly do the resevoir of clay and then 4/1 cups Coco/clay for the remaining mix?

Well... I don't do Coco Hempy, I don't mix hydroton with coco, I don't use CocoTek, I've never used the lucas formula (not with flora nova) and you should check the cal-mag levels before adding epsom salt. Also, I start all my seeds right in coco. When I take my ratio, and add in the ratios of my "friends" on here who follow the same advice, then we are like 98 for 100 starting seeds in coco.
I am more of a "Smartpot, Roots Organic amended with CocoGro, Botanicare CNS 17 Coco/Soil nutrients, and magnesium supplements like Flora Nectar, Bud Candy, Sea Mag, Cal-Mag Plus, and Huvega, kind of grower. I'll start my plants in cocoGro before transplanting to 2 gallon smartpots of the final coco mix. Top feed and DTW.
Honestly, I think most of the Coco-Hempy crowd is over at ICMag.com. You might have better luck with input on your system over there.

im a lucas formula user in coco but not the floranova one. i dont think that one has been tailored to coco for what ive seen, but i did only read grat3fulh3ads thread on lucas formula and coco. i also dont do hempy since coco is more of a soil that should be watered every other day if not daily to get the fastest and best growth. cal-mag and epsom salts dont fix the same problem since the epsom fixes sulfate and magnesium, not calcium for what i remember. for more info let me know!

Wouldnt a crushed egg shells work for cal?
I havent started yet and after seedling I could crush egg shells and mix loosely in the top area of my coco.
And also I love time with my plants I have no issue watering the coco as it drys. if it dont wick decent from the resevoir.
Also Coco recipe for GH 2part micro bloom totals 40-80-74 with 1 gram epsom salt
So if i scales that to the floranova bloom thats 10ml/g and 1g epsom salt. But im thinking i will start with the 8 and see if we have any issues.

nope it does not give you the ratio you stated. if you mean the micro and bloom formula that is. In the coco, I am now using 6ml/gal micro and 9ml/gal bloom which gives the nute profile:

P 60
K 105
Mg 27
S 41
Ca 97
adding 1 g/gal epsom salts to the solution changes the numbers for mg and s to:
Mg 67
S 61
this is directly quoted from Grat3fulh3ad on icmag the creator of lucas formula for coco. you dont really want coco to let dry out, always needs to be moist.

Don't do that. They need to break down to release their calcium, they need to compost. You don't want that process going on while your plant is growing. Get some calmag. Reminds me of advise this little chinese guy gives at one local growshop.

i think your missing the point to add epsom salts. its NOT the calcium! epsom is MGSO4! theres no calcium in it. the point is to up the magnesium and sulfate levels. when you up the calcium and magnesium it throws off the cation exchange in the coco and causes problems.
Just done some supercropping on mine (was getting abit crowded). Tommorow ill have my drain to waste setup, so no more waiting for pots to drain and emptying trays etc yay.

I'm still having major pH issues. My run-off after feeding is 7.4pH and 900ppm. Feeding with 100ppm Magical, 1mL/gal of Roots Excel, 1mL/gal of Floralicious plus, 5mL/gal of Liquid Kool Bloom, and 10mL/gal of Heavy-16 Bud A&B totaling around 925ppm. I've tried flushing 10/gal each pot of 5.5pHed RO water with just 300ppms of Magical and 15mL/gal of Clearex. Run-off of last flush came out 7.4pH 300ppms. There are signs of deficiencies yellowing top and bottoms leaves. But there is still growth above the scrogg. They are two weeks in flower. Not sure what else I can do to bring the pH back down to 5.8.

Somewhere in the neighborhood of 1ml/L should be enough with the rest of your system.

Sounds like you are flushed.
The proper way to read your pH is by doing a slurry test.
Grab as much loose coco as you can from as low as you can and put it in a small cup. Add just the slightest amount of filtered water (distilled is ideal) to the coco so you can make a kind of slurry with it. Put your pH probe right down into the slurry and test that pH.
This is how Canna recommends testing the pH of Coco.
Personally I always notice the pH is a few points higher, no matter what, with coco. Usually my pH runs off at around 6.3ish when I use a 5.8pH solution. I don't see pH issues in coco very often unless the solution being used is WAY off.
