I don't filter mine either. I have a very fine metal mesh screen and a regular kitchen one before that so it flows through easily. Gonna eat it anyhow so fine particles are no issue. I save the leavings as the pulp is full of oil yet even after a good squeezing so chunks of it can be added to smoothies or baked goods at the same dosage as the oil. Just don't freeze it in one big ball or you'll need a hatchet to bust it up. I crumble it warm in a freezer bag and spread it around and freeze flat so it's in bits you can weigh out or guesstimate for dosing.

I'm the only pothead in the family too except the wife was using RSO for her glaucoma and some liver tumours that they now think are fat deposits as most are gone now and it's been more than a few years. Gets a scan every couple years now and all is well.

I got a shitload of pot stashed away in the freezer I plan to make into RSO but a bit better refined then send samples to a lab to see what I got. I have reg THC pot, THC/CBD pot and about 6lbs of industrial hemp buds the farmer down the road let me scrounge when they grew a half section of it a couple years ago. Some CBD only stuff would be nice but not the stuff available commercially as it's just CBD and no natural parts of the plant.
