Have to respect you for coming in and letting us know! I understand where your coming from I tend to get a little carried away myself lol. Stick around shit maybe you can be a judge if your down, it would be random so I'm sure everyone would agree on it..? The question is how many judges should we have?

Seeing that my grow is going to be suspended for an indefinite amount of time, and I am creating the winning prize, I am going to be a bystander as well.

Not that I dont wanna participate, but I just cant right now.

However being a judge is something I might be interested in ;)

Cheeba, you need to enter this contest, there are a few 1st DWC Grows in this one....

DWC growing is fun and different from soil. I am a soil grower still learning DWC. That plant was Vegged from 13 Sep to 4 Nov. I used a 400 watt MH light for Veg and Flowering with a 1000 watt HPS. Using X Nutrient Base Line up, she started in a Coffee Can Grow....

Skunkijuana started in a Coffee Can.....

She eventually out grow both sizes of Coffee Can so she went into a 3 gallon bucket....

Coffee Cans are awesome starters.....Maybe I can make a Coffee Can Label and put it around the 5 Gallon and enter this for the contest....LOL j/k!

WOWOWWOOW LOL!! amazing! I saw a user that offered coffee cans to those who needed...? I need some huge cans cuz i dont drink coffee! and im not buying coffee lol ;) i will buy the empty cans tho! I only have 1, but I have 3 small ones ...i believe the big ones are 34oz? i dunno, but i need maybe 3 of them, ill pay shipping!!

Go to a office or where you work and ask people to give you there Plastic Coffee Cans, tell them you use them for cleaning paint brushes! Unless you want to tell them your growing bud out of them. LOL

SweetestCheeba, I picked up my supplies for less then 20 bucks at petsmart. 10 gal pump 11.00, 2" air stone 2.99 and Silicon hose 8ft "only used a foot." 2.99." Your looking at a little less then 20 bucks but thats not including a net pot and coffie can.. Someone suggested using a yogurt can as a net pot, or if you can go to a hydro store there cheap! Plus whatever medium you want to use. I spent less than 20 and had the rest laying around :) You should try and enter you wont regret it!

I would of thought by now you would have one of your clones in there, you got a bunch now! You can always rinse the CoCo off the root and pop it in the net pot. Just an idea, cause I know you have a lot of CoCo grows! Cant wait to see what you put in there bro!

I guess I am using some " Maine Ingenuity" concerning using these (2) Items for the "Coffee Can Competition Party" .... Me thinks my (2) Girls; "Cadbury" and "Corkie" will just love them !!

I know I do already and I am just beginning !! Stay Tuned :-) One Just Never Knows what "The MaineYankee" will come up with next !! :-)

lol!! well.........i remember when i first started i went to lowes garden section, and asked the lady what the best nutes are for starting a hydro grow, not soil...lol she didnt want to help me after that.. OOPS!

this is probably a dumb question but will i ever get the coffee smell off of the folgers can or should i stop trying now? lol im not a coffee drinker, nor do I know anybody who brews their own on a regular basis, I went and bought a folgers decaf 33.9oz can (decaf because its green!) i dont like the smell and I dont want my cheese to smell like coffee lol thanks in advance... bongsmilie

also, I want to get this out there now. Ill probably be using a seedling instead of a clone and my current seedlings are bagseed so please excuse me from the competition if I throw out my coffee can hermie but I hope this doesnt happen!

The smell may linger around a little but will go away eventually. Its not going to harm your roots or plant whatsoever! No your bud wont taste like coffee, but than again I smoked some dank ass OG Kush and it always reminds me of Coffee when I smoke it. Sometimes Bag seeds will surprise you and can be some fire ass buds. I would really like to have you in the contest. I am going to be done with my Coffee Can Grow in January so waiting around till April is going to suck for me! LOL

So I'm resigned to the fact that I need to buy these cans, I asked everyone I talk to and nothing. It's no biggie though, I guess I'll be drinking a shitload of coffee for the next couple of months... there's a lot of things that need to get done/fixed around the house, maybe the caffeine will get my arse up and busy, lol...

Do like Mach and make a shit load of coffee and sell it on the streets for .25 cent a cup. Kind of like kids do with their Lemonade! LOL good way to get rid of coffee and make a little profit off it! Or just get a Zip Lock bag and pour all your coffee in there!
