Colas VS Nuggs

Hey curers.

Given 3 half gallon mason jars: 1 full of heavy colas, 2 full of nuggs. The nuggs smell dreamy while the colas smell like hay.

?? Maybe the colas were too close to the lights?

?? Should I break up the colas for a better cure?

My best guess would be that the colas dry more slowly and haven't gotten to the curing point yet. Time will tell.

Not too late, can dry them out a little extra whole or break them up

They are actually starting to smell good. I busted one up to inspect - no mold and surprising how dense and sticky because my most successful grow so far but also first time I used commercial beans too.

Leave them on sticks /stems, only time u need to if ur selling it cause itherwise that stem is ur best way to keep ur shelf life

Buy a 17-25+ gal tout or a 5 gal bucket + gamma seal top and leave ur stemmed buds in there with a interga boost /rh 62% pack in there

I always break mine up. Maybe a couple tops that are an 8th by themselves but nothing larger for I fear the GREAT MOLLLDDDDD!

My first run I jarred too quick and ended up with mold so I have the mold phobia too but with proper RH I'm finding that giant colas are safe, so far. Better to be safe and break them up though if you have limited quantities.
