Thanks Dan your always a great help...I did a little research as well and it came up that they pretty much like moist humid places and feed off of dead plant material but becomes detrimental when it runs out of dead plant and goes after live ones...I was really curious to see if they dig into the soil and attack the roots cause that's what i'm really worried about...if they just hang out on stems and leaves it shouldn't be a problem with plenty of attentiveness...say how are those clones doing Dan?
I'm getting better at it, I'm about to sell some tonight actually. The guys all but wipe-ing me out. lol

I do have a question though. I became aware recently that keeping the plugs too wet is bad, so last night I took them out one by one and squeezed the excess moisture out of them carefull not to break any of the stems I can see.

I sprayed the leaves and didn't touch them again till tonight, and they wree saturated with water again. I squeezed out almost enough water to fill a 16oz cup. What they hell, is there some sort of water fairy that visited them last night? lol

I have to get that figured out before I get any better at it.

I haven't seen anything close to a shortage. My friends that own a dispensary had to put up a sign saying no vendors without an appointment because they got more vendors stopping by the shop every day than customers.

I see ounces of top shelf going for less than $250 an oz on craigslist.
Please post your friends dispensary that has all the product in stock. The 6 shops in Denver and 2 in Co Springs were all singing the blues. Also just read a chan 9 report they were saying the same thing about the upcoming shortage.

These guys are downtown. Much better prices than the dro stores, too.

EDIT: They also have everything you need to mix your own chemical ferts and the measuring equipment to do it right, if you were so inclined ;) . They have some cool science experiments under the lab equipment too.
Thanks for the help. +rep (if I can)

I'll check them out. Hopefully they wont mind teaching me about calibration & "junction fibers" and "renewing the junction". It's still all greek to me. lol

I'm using organic nutes though, not chemical. Hopefully they'll have a source for organic sulfur, calcium, and molybdenum though. I'll definately check that out too. Thanks again.

Cool, I'll be harvesting just in time for a shortage. Heck with half of retail, I want three quarters of retail. lol (j/k)

Typical of the government. Implement a fee to pay for something, then use the money gained through the fee to pay for something else. It's all an accounting game of smoke and mirrors, just like the funds from the state lottery. Sure, they give the money from the lottery to parks and recreation, but what they don't tell you is that the decrease the amount of funding that parks and recreation is getting from the general fund by the same amount. In effect you pay a voluntary tax every time you buy one.

What I find hilarious is that they are talking about hiring a few temporary workers, when any fool can see that they this is going to require at least a few more permanent full time people to handle.

Why the fuck don't we just make it legal if so many people are getting upset over the fact that there are so many people registering and they are skeptical of it's use...People love to smoke pot most don't think it's a bad thing...infact it's now been turned into a good thing to make it so you don't need to feel so bad about using it...And at the moment this is the only way people can be looked at as a law abiding citizen and still feel free...we're smarter than this people....If some pot makes your life better go for it do it up till you die cause living life miserable isn't worth it.

Grass Roots, Mary Jays, B-Goods, Chronic-Wellness, Re-Leaf Center, are all places that I know have full stock.

List any places that have a shortage. I know people out there that can have them fully stocked by the end of the day. There are some folks out there harvesting full warehouses at a time.

Nice one Growman. I thought I'd also contribute since I took pics last night.

My girls are just getting over a bad nute deficiency that was originally misdiagnosed as burns. So they lost a lot of their lower leaves. But at 10 weeks, they still look pretty good. I'll be putting them into flower as soon as I can get a fresh batch of clippings, prob. about 3 days or so.

The plant heights are in the pic name so I hope it's readable.

Looking good Danny. Seem to be getting really nice and bushy, and if they had a nute deficiency they seem to have recovered quite well. What strain are they?

Nah, haven't started a grow journal yet. Just haven't had the time, plus I can only take pics when I pull them out of the room till I get a real camera. But I might start one soon if I can find the time.

I used the "plant the clipping in a cup of soil & put sarran wrap over the top" technique and overwatered them. It took 3 weeks for the soil to dry out enough for any to start taking root, and I lost close to a quarter of them.

Then I switched to the rapid rooter and I've been doing much better. They root in 7 to 14 days and I've been experimenting with different ways to use the Mycorrhiza to speed up the process, but nothing solid yet.

If you use the rapid rooter, don't follow the instructions. Don't leave standing water in the tray & get a dome. Also get a heating pad & a thermostadt. Once they're showing a little bit of root I pull it and plant it in a 16oz cup with FF Happy Frog & Perlite. But after I finish this bag I'm going back to FF Ocean Forrest. I was mistaking a deficiency for burns when I switched to Happy Frog.

I've just finally been getting good at rooting clones, so that's the method I'm gonna stick with for now. But I'm probably not the best person to look to for advice. I'm still experimenting with moisture level in the plugs, changing humidity levels, and the Mycorrhiza. I'll let everyone know if I stuble across something amazing, but after getting 3" to 4" roots in 5 days with the Mycorrhiza that one time, I haven't been able to repeat it yet.
