Hello everyone i am new to this forum as well as the practice of growing pretty much anything at all. I have just moved to a new area and have spent the last 5 months trying to find a supplier of constant grass and have had no luck what so ever, so with that said i am looking to take up the art of growing my own stash, but i have no clue where to begin or what i even need. So i figured i would ask if anyone else on a limited budget might be able to help me get started with a list of inexpensive must haves as well as a few tips on getting started. I have read information on several sites and know about germination but my big problems are what do afterwards. Any help at all is greatly appreciated.

Almost forgot, i will be growing indoors in a basement due to ohios cold climate.

Welcome to RIU but please start with the FAQ's. There is a wealth of info there.

There are 2 approaches you can take: stumble forward and try to learn as you go, or do a lot of reading up front and have a plan. The second is better. I'm also in Ohio and a basement is good. If you want to pm me I'll try to help further.

It is always best to learn as much as you can before diving in headfirst. You may wish to purchase a good book or three on growing marijuana and give it or them a good read before you do much more. In the meantime if you follow the links below you will find some general information that at least a fair bit of it would be good to know. In the case of the last two links, the online books, I will not swear the author, Jorge Cervantes, is the know all tell all of the growing world but he is no slouch and he can tell you way more than you now know. In both cases the links will take you to a page a bit into his online books so just scroll to the top and then read your way to the bottom.

Happy learning!
