Confused about how many fans needed

I am a little confused about how many fans I need for my setup. I have a 600watt air cooled hood. It appears I also need a second separate system for bringing in cool air. So thats 2 fans, was thinking a 6in for the light and a 4in for the second system. Room is about 4x4x10. For the exhaust, does the light need need a fan (third fan) and then also another fan for general exhaust (4th fan)? I would also like all the exhaust to be through one hole so I dont have to make additional holes in the wall.

I have one 6 inch fan. It draws through carbon filter and out of tent. intake is passive. my light is 600 watts hid. tent 3x3x7. if you have air cooled hood you could go filter to hood then out with a passive intake. hope that makes some sort of sense.

Do you have a second system to bring in air besides whats going to the hood? From reading it seems like a second system to bring in cool air is needed.

no I have passive intake IE just an open vent about 8inches. air comes in is circulated then is drawn thru carbon filter then out of the tent

Heres where my confusion is. I have the light-fam-exhausting out. On the other side of the light id have ducting going to a hole for passive air intake but then all the air coming in is going straight to the light and then out. Do I not hook the other side of the light up to ducting?

are you using a carbon filter ? if not then it should be hood to fan and out . no ducting to your hole for intake. if using a carbon filter then filter to hood and out, no ducting to intake. you can run isolated which would be intake hole, ducting to light ducting to fan then out of tent. with thhis type of set up you will need a second system to provide fresh air to the plants IE another fan hope this helps.
