Connect veg/flower tent without veg light interrupting flower

So I just set up two tents. One will be for veg the other for flower. However when I connect two with duct work, the light from the veg tent goes through it into the flower tent. What do? I tried putting panty hose over it. No luck. Putting something in front of it, the duct work, light still gets past it. Thanks.

I can’t. I already have my filter and fan inside the tent ducted to outside the tent to the roof. Any other ideas man?

You could try to put some sort of shade together, think of a China man's hat upside down, put a U in the ducting, instead of linking two side vents use 1 roof and 1 side?

Bends in your duct work, but that will cut down on efficiency.

If you use long bends then airflow shouldn't be affected much. Also, either purchase ducting that is black on the inside, or paint the inside of your ducting black to absorb light instead of reflecting it.

My last grow was similar. Air entered the flower tent at the bottom and then was exhausted out the top to the veg tent bottom and out the top of that. Veg was always warmer and more humid.
