Consolidated Everything to Control Board

I thought I would post my control board to possibly give anyone else some ideas to start with, or of course share their own Control Board triumphs too. :bigjoint:

Feel free to also critique, comment, suggest, etc..I am here to learn.

Here is my control board that houses nearly all of the electrical components that operate within my closet.

This is above waist and mounted to 2 separate 2x4's in the wall, I love it and it made my life in the closet organized and possibly to actually work in properly and safely.

Always a work in progress. Power lines feed the outlets I have mounted to it from the top of the board and there is also a UPS on a shelf right below the board off Picture for backup power.

Left Side:

2 4Port G&H Air Pumps - 1 for each room.
Inside/Outside Thermometer & Outside Hygrometer for 400w Room
UPS Power Strip
Fan Power STrip for Fan Control by Plant Pro for 600w Room

Center:

Plant Pro - This regulates CO2, Fans, Water Pump, and Light for 600w Room

Right:
400w Ballast
600w Ballast
4 Power Outlets Total - 15Amp Breaker per 2 outlets
Temp Control Boxes - These shutoff power to lights of temp goes over desired level.
PWX-1 - This is used to keep my light off of same breaker as plant pro control panel.

Got a small 6" air king there off to far right putting some cool on those electronic ballasts...not really needed but a precaution I suppose.

Here are some closeups:

Nice setup. Lot more advanced than mine. Here I was all happy tonite to add a couple new outlets and zip tie up some outlet strips to make things tidier. lol.

Having a ups is a good Idea. I plan to install a simple windmill this summer running a delco alternator to charge some deep cycle batteries and run a 4kw inverter.

some pics of my controls.... 60 amp contactor, 20 amp adjustable trip breaker, switches 1200w. no hydro so no pump/rez controls. runs 2 400w MH, 1 250w MH, 6 fans running on 3 different voltages (24vdc, 120vac, 240vac) temp overrides (currently set @ 92 deg f) and ambient tewmp controls (activates room heat or a/c when desired temp range is exceeded), plus powers up the green led night lights for the cabs if i need them on. adding hydro/co2/whatever is no problem at all, just a matter of cycle timers. right now its running 2 cabs @ 12/12.

far away

construction pic... ive added a relay since then that serves as a temp override.
i get rid of bulky power strips and hardwire direct. see the terminals on the far right? thats my power strip :D 16 outlets in 4 inches

Dood, LMAO at your 4 inch comment, so true! I think my girlfriend would freak out if I had that connection in the closet...in the end it would probably be safer though since you know exactly what is happening at every end point. :)

This is great stuff, exactly what I was hoping for! Thank you for your contribution mane!

That is what always the case eh? You are content and then you go off and check something out and think, "damnit now I have to do that too" and more todo's are put on your list. ;)

Your windmill idea sounds like a badass thread that I would be on board to watch for sure!
