Say what you want but it's better than doing what you are which is nothing. Instead of taking your time to critisize others, you could clicked on the link and helped out. This isn't a thread to debate whether or not something will be done, it's a thread to inform and influence people to take action.

Again, why don't you spend some time being proactive instead of critisizing? Are you too busy to take 30 seconds to do something that could help millions of people? If you went to jail for weed and was with a bunch of murderers and rapists I'm sure you'd want to be helped out.

Just a month ago the economy was in a free fall (thanks to Repukes) and now there are signs of things turning. If anything Obama prevented a depression that conservatives wanted so bad.

I already said I don't agree with alcohol and cigs being taxed more, and I'm not saying weed shouldn't be legalized. I'm just saying those that say it'll save the economy are the first ones that will be complaining when the government raises the tax rate on their weed they wanted legal, to the point where it starts costing more than through illegal means.
I just think legalizing for medical use is much better reasoning than wooing the political powers with money issues. Not to mention the letter doesn't even list any specific benefits exactly that come with legalization.

A tax on cig's and alcohol is really a tax on the poor. One of the little tricks of politicians.
Weed was very very close in the 70's to becoming just like cig's, altho i'm afraid if Obama doesn't do it (he says he will not), it may be not happen in the forseeable future, and that's a shame. When we look at the heinous tragedies caused by alcohol on a daily basis it is the height of hypocrisy to keep weed banned.

I was not a big fan of McCain, but I know him to be a patriot. Folks you can't vote for ANY president or politician because of ONE issue. McCain was the lesser of the two evils, each day this is becoming more and more apparent.

I care. I live in california and have wrote and called My congress regarding PROP A.B 390 . Whis is asking to make MJ legal and regulated in california. Yes I know we will lose money. But if your a green thumb. The sky would be the limit for comercial sale to banks. THE TIME IS NOW.

To be honest the profit margins on growing weed is not based on reality. Imagine the outcry if Exxon made 1000% profit (they make about 8%)!

I don't live in Cali. so i talk about the med enviro in your state, but really decent weed can go for 400/ounce around here...or 100/ per quarter. Surely it doesn't cost more than 40 bucks to produce a plant of one ounce (usually more). That's a 1000%. No?

You obviously have never grown if you think it only takes $40 to grow one plant. Just the electricity alone could equal 2-3 times that.

I grow outdoors... the question being in a weed friendly state such as cali, why don't you?
If you grow 100 plants indoors that gives you $4000 to play with. Plenty of dough to produce. Your equipment is an investment but it keeps on giving once set up.
