cops monitoring this site?

your ip shows your Internet provider or serverhost location and that is all. It does not show your house location. However your ip is still unique to you and your internet provider can use the ip to tell ur personal info, but as others have stated that would require the provider to give the information up first

Now, you must remember we live in a different world than 10 years ago and our rights protect us less. The Feds and police can obtain any information they want basically under the terrorism laws and such which basically nullify the constitution if they need to. I dont think there's anything to worry about at this point tho. Just too much work for them

Pics taken with a phone have a gps code embedded in them. They can find out where the pic was taken, they get the gps coordinates.

I see New Growth, and DoobVa, and RobinBanks, and.........

If you have a small grow op, you are fine. LEO needs big growers to fill their budget gaps. We had a grow house go down in my county three months ago with less than 200 plants. yes, the guy did go down, but the newspapers were filled with opinions like... "don't the cops have better things to do?" Busting small grows actually garners the cops a NEGATIVE outcome.

dynamic ip doesnt do anything except change ur ip address each time you login, the address is still logged directly to you at that time tho, no protection there

Ive been workin online for a yr and a bit now and i can tell you that if you have a dynamic ip you can change it pretty easily to constantly have privacy...but really just chill really what is the the law is just made to constrain you and hold you down once your at peace with the law and the consequences of what your doing you can focus more on the actual grow than just trying to hide it.

haha I was thinking that too however seems most of the posters are completely not paranoid and only 3 posters here actually worried about anything. I'm not worried about it just like to chime in on little bits

Pretty funny that map is showing my location like 500 miles from where I actually am.
it didn't show my exact location, but it was only off by like ten miles to the south! did u switch to the sat view? it was kinda weird where it was showing my location coming from, anyway i've come to the conclusion that u just have to use common sense:when talking about ur grow ops and its/ur whereabouts be vague, unless ur legal then who gives a shit! :peace:
PS. descretion is sometimes the better part of valor, so maybe being very specific about the exact number of plants isnt a good idea either.

It’s not actually paranoia if you have a valid reason to be paranoid.
That is so true. Penalties for cultivation in some parts are pretty harsh. At some point we need to stand up for what is right and not be afraid. Stop the insanity!!!! Legalize it.

Well, that is certainly true, but I don't think it applies to small growers. Usually it is their own mistakes or plain bad luck which leads to the arrests. Big growers should be worried and I doubt any post on here much. I sure wouldn't.

no?
