I did a dry run to the HR and PH patches this morning. I killed the GV2 male.

I have a steady stream of folks coming in the office for copies, so I'll have to wait to load my pictures.

T-Pig is 66 - 1 = 65

I did the pick up trash beside the road thing to get back to the HR and PH patches. My cousin came by while I was heading back to the house and we talked for a few minutes. He told me the fellow who owns the land where the KP patches are was on the land cruising the pines to see if they were worth thinning. I have 9 plants on that land. I think most of them would stand transplanting, if I could have a nice rainy day to do it. That is assuming he didn't stumble across the plants today.

It's only 10-15 acres of land, so he would have to line up more trees to cut or they wouldn't want to come do it. I need 8-9 weeks, so I hope he decides the trees are not worth thinning. or the loggers are busy for the next two months. This is what I get for getting off family land.

This was one of the worst patches for deer, so several of the plants have been reduced in size. The two best ones are about head high. All the rest are waist to chest high.

What do you guys think? Try to move them? Hope for the best? Stay away?

I think I would hope for the best and keep my ears to the ground. In my mind they are too old to try and move. At the worst I may go whack them down if I knew that were about to be logged. Just my 2 cents

That was kind of what I'm thinking. The plants are not that big. Unless he walked right on them, I don't think he would spot them. Four of them are in the middle of a grapevine thicket. You have to crawl to get to those sons of bitches. They might get run over with a skidder, but I doubt they would be seen. I did leave a roll of wire I had planned on using for cages and never got around to making them. I want to get that for sure.

You need to know what's going on get a hunt came set up so you could at least have an idea if dude found them you could chop and get out before the authorities arrive plus the guy sounds like he's broke he might try to snatch your plants instead of log !

I am sure Larry is on top of things. Have you ever been down in Florida? The guy sounds like he's broke and may try to steal the plants? How the f did you surmise this?

The guy that came out to walk the land is actually the son of the land owner. He had his son and grandkids with him this morning, so I'm thinking he didn't look too long.. I bet they were mostly just looking from the road.

I went to school with him. He did smoke 35-40 years ago. Not sure if he still does. And while I don't know his personal economic situation, he is from a well to do family. This piece of land was a small part of a land swap involving both farm and timber land. The fact I hadn't seen any of them on there for several years is what made me decide to risk growing on it.

The plants are two CP1's and 7 Slo2's. I already have my picks for breeding of those strains, and these are not them. So as far as that goes, I could whack and forget. But I think I will just stay away, while keeping an eye on it. I can ask my cousin to give me heads up if he hears anything.

Last night on the way to the camp, I dropped off my pack with food and water for the GN patch. Had a thunderstorm during the night, and didn't get in there to carry it back this morning. Maybe tomorrow.

I got over to check on the two runts in the GB patch just before dark. Food, water, brown sugar and Epsom salts. The little GV1 and GV2 are growing like crazy. They are just above and just below waist high. Looks like they are about to get started flowering.

Larry I've had my far share of plants eatin by deer I'm not a 100percent but maybe when the deer chewed on it the bacteria from its mouth is messing with the plant maybe you should try cutting the affected part off

This is the first year I've made it to flowering with no chewing from deer :) I've been using a combination of liquid fence and Irish spring soap and pondering trying mothballs I've been trying to switch it up to keep em away
