My landlord came in my apartment while I was gone and well...... There was a note on the door when I came home saying call us ASAP lol. So I go inside and noticed my bedroom door is open, this is where my tent is, the door on the tent had been opened. I knew then that they had discovered my operation ....... should I tear it down and run or go talk to them I thought. So I go down to talk to him. He says " We fixed the leaking shower faucet oh and by the way I don't know what you're growing but just as long as you're not selling and noone can smell it I don't care what you do in the privacy of your apartment" LMFAO I went from shitting my pants to a HUGE weight being lifted off my shoulders. We made an agreement.... I give him an ounce every grow and he don't give two shits what I do lol. And thats my story about growing in an apartment.... wish everyone could have a landlord as cool as mine. Happy growing all!bongsmilie

And not to change gears in this thread but I had just dropped over 300 on an inline fan and carbon scrubber lol.. the Ganja gods were looking out for me. I have noticed a HUGE difference in my plats since ive installed the 6" inline. My tent looks like its going to implode from the passive intake. I have a fan going in there as well and the force of that inline fan is unreal! And you cant smell anything now. Def have to say ventilation has made a big gifference in the grow room.

I'd still be worried that someone knows about your grow. It is what it is. He knows and there isn't shit you can do about it now, but I'd still get the fuck out of there and distance myself from that guy as much as possible. Before you know it, that one person who knows can turn into dozens and the next thing you know Johnny comes a knockin'. Remember, loose lips sink ships.

Just my opinion.

Man, you lucked out that the cops weren't waiting on you.....My last wife managed a large apartment complex and was a true bitch about anything.....I too run a exhaust fan and char can but I have the same aize fan supplyin gintake...works great!

why was he looking through your personal belonging when he was supposedly there to fix a leak or something? did he tell you he was coming over 24 hrs in advance like he's required to if you live in the us? my point is, dont trust this guy, he will most likely fuck you over somehow. move asap.

you are lucky dude and yeah it seems cool for now, but what happens when he shoots his mouth off, he probally will he was dodgy enough to snoop around in the first place, if you want to keep it real, film and tape record him recieving the ounce and then you have a little something to play with, but personly im with DD40, just not the asap part

that just my 2 cents bud, imagine that feeling x 10, you'll be shitting nuggs on the floor when you got the DEA on ya, they arent so forgiving;-)

Agreed. Plus, if he came to fix a leaky faucet, then clearly you notified them of it. If so, why wouldn't you try to hide anything? Lock a door to the room or something? Was the guy just snooping around or did he have to go through the room where the tent was to get to the faucet?

I got a feeling the OP is either lying, and/or he's never heard that cell door close behind him. I promise you bro, if you're ever looking through those bars for whatever reason, you'll realize that it ain't so funny anymore. Those "LOL's" will turn to tears REAL quick.

I didnt report the leak, I looked through my lease and " In case of Emergency" circumstances apply here. Basically, if you have a leaky faucet, and you're not home, they can come in unannounced. This is what happened. My door was cracked because of my dog. That all being said, I believe he cant do anything just for this reason. My bed room is on the complete opposite side of the apartment to where the rest room is. They had no reason to " snoop" in my bed room. And the fact that my dog was in his kennel AND THEY LET HIM OUT for whatever reason. They made some mistakes and I documented them. I will not be tearing down the op but this will be the last grow till I move.

that still doesnt explain why he went into your own personal property. or do you mean you keep the grow tent open? you said earlier you seeing the grow tent open was the "wtf" moment where you realized something wasnt right. Just because he found it illegally doesnt mean the cops are going to take his or whoever he may tell's tip any less serious. i doubt they care, all they have to do is say they got a reliable tip.

Fuck it. It's only a tent, which can come down quick if need be, and if your relationship goes shitty with your LL, then take 'er down real quick and move. IF the manager/landlord dropped a dime on you, he would have to tell the cops how he knows, and why he entered. There HAS to be advanced notice given to enter a home or apartment by a landlord. Usually its 24 hours minimum. So, if you REALLY can't smell fuck all in there, you'd best trim and dry inside your tent with the fan on..lol! I have had a dime dropped on me, I cleaned but left fuck all inside, room still intact (equipment) and never did have the cops come. A healthy bit of paranoia is good, but much like trying to walk with a panful of water, once it goes too far you're fucked. As soon as he takes that first bag, you got him by his nut-bag too. You fella's better get comfy...LMAO!!!

*edit-->Entry could be lawfully gained in the event of an emergency (blown/leaking/overflow/electrical/fire/etc). BUT STILL, who better to watch your place if you suddenly have to leave town or get emergency treatment for a self-inflicted-hooker injury!! :P

Basically, Im a good tenant. Im a war vet (2 to Iraq 1 to afgan). I always pay my rent EARLY. I cause ZERO problems for them. I dont sell. And the way I see it, if the cops were going to be called they would have already been called. I spoke to him again and the reason he didnt turn me in is because of the reasons stated above. He was just taken back cause he did not think I did any sort of drug. He also said when he entered the place it was clean and tidy, lol. I guess being a clean and tidy pot head saved my ass lol. As everyone knows, pot is SLOWLY becoming tolerated. As long as youre not stupid and do it in front of jonny law, than you have nothing to really worry about. Now if my entire apartment was a whole grow operation it would be a different story..... but its not. I have a 2'x4' tent which is for personal.
